Product information "Mammoth offroad tires extra wide - 2pcs."

Extra wide tire that fits 1/6 scale FG buggy/truck rims with extension ring!
Diameter 165 mm, width 80 mm. Fits all FG and Carson largescale cars, may fit other cars with 18 mm wheel squares as well.
HPI Baja 5 cars can also use these tires when equipped with special adapters.

Available in three different compounds:

hard

We have tried various rubber / tire compounds for several months on various forms of terrain, etc..

The Mammoth brings, due to its quite strong and large pins and the extreme width of the tire, especially on hard and low grip surfaces a high traction!

The Mammoth is available in soft, medium and hard!
The rule is: the harder the ground the softer the tire compound.

Where other tires spin helplessly the Mammoth provides serious traction.

With few exceptions, the Mammoth is usually for the rear axle only.

The disadvantage of Mammoth tires:
Because of their extreme width they need to be mounted on FG wheels with extension rings and wide tire inserts (same as for the FG wide slicks), which is a labor intensive job.

The white lettering on the tires has been applied for presentation purpose only. The tires will be delivered with black sidewall.

From experience, we must strongly recommend against using rims from another manufacturer in combination with extension rings. Due to the before mentioned traction no other rim has been up to the task!
Broken rims and torn squares were the result.

However, the original FG-rim lasts without problems!

GPM 7081/01 Ball driveshaft for 91 mm FG and Mecatech cars, 1 pce.

Fits all FG and Mecatech touring cars and gt-models. The GPM drive parts are made of high quality spring steel and due to its elasticity provide high impact resistance and extreme stability. Ground bearing seats ensure maximum accuracy of fit. Ball drives run significantly smoother and with less wear than normal dog bones with pins. The GPM ball drives can be partially mixed with FG parts. The heads of the GPM driveshafts fit into FG differential cups or wheel shafts.The opposite combination, i.e. FG shafts in GPM differential cups or wheel shafts does not always fit. We had tests where some FG shafts fit neatly, but due to slight tolerances others who did not fit into the very same cups/shafts. For this combination, we can not guarantee compatibility! The MadMax SUPERGRIP tires have been designed especially for use on tarmac. Even on fine-pored tarmac your car will still find enough grip! (As you can see in our video).On most 1/5 and 1/6 cars the best combination is the use of 60 mm wide front and 80 mm wide rear tires.
