Baja 5T/Rear - Losi 5ive-T

Sand Buster-T Rib front and Sand Buster-T Paddle rear tires are now available from HPI Racing. These tires are designed specifically for the Baja 5T truck.

Sand Busters-T Rib fronts have a rib down the center of the tire to cut through the sand for stable steering, and the Sand Buster-T Paddle rears have 10 large paddles for maximum traction in sand and soft dirt. Sand Buster's are designed for the sand, but you can also run them in loose dirt and even in the mud!

Suitable for Losi 5ive-T as well (paddles all around).

No additional parts are required for installation of the 24 mm hex wheel drivers. The Losi Super Baja-Rey's fake brake discs and calipers must be removed prior to assembly.Attention: For the attachment of the wheels you also need wheel nuts with M18x1.5 thread (i.e. AT-5T004), which are also offered in our shop's option menu!Please note: The adapters only fit in combination with the standard plastic steering knuckles or wheel bearing carriers. The Mammoth brings, due to its quite strong and large pins and the extreme width of the tire, especially on hard and low grip surfaces a high traction! The Mammoth is available in soft, medium and hard! The rule is: the harder the ground the softer the tire compound. Where other tires spin helplessly the Mammoth provides serious traction. With few exceptions, the Mammoth is usually for the rear axle only. The disadvantage of Mammoth tires: Because of their extreme width they need to be mounted on FG wheels with extension rings and wide tire inserts (same as for the FG wide slicks), which is a labor intensive job. The white lettering on the tires has been applied for presentation purpose only. The tires will be delivered with black sidewall. From experience, we must strongly recommend against using rims from another manufacturer in combination with extension rings. Due to the before mentioned traction no other rim has been up to the task! Broken rims and torn squares were the result. However, the original FG-rim lasts without problems!
