We have tested and optimized the Samba 8 Titan- tuned pipe system for half a year on the engine dyno and an additional three months on various racetracks! The pipe has a new, very strong connection system. This low-maintenance flexible connection between pipe and manifold is secured by four (!) springs, making a failure prone o-ring seal obsolete! Despite of the increased performance fuel consumption remains the same compared to a Samba 7 pipe. The Samba 8 system provides significantly better performance, i.e. the power is optimally available across the engines entire rpm range! Again and again, podium places are achieved at major events through the use of Samba tuned pipe systems.Of course, the Samba 8 tuned pipe system is race legal for racing, with the DMC approval number 10-1504 engraved. A torn starter rope, blisters on your finger from constant pulling or a defective starter pawl. All these problems are a thing of the past with the hybrid starter.With the help of a cordless screwdriver the engine can be started very easily and if the battery of the cordless screwdriver is empty, the engine can be started by using the conventional way with the pull-rope starter.Please note:The starter shaft for electric start is inserted in a straight line in extension of the crankshaft. No part of the vehicle must be in the way here. On a model with a longitudinally mounted engine (e.g. Losi 5ive or DBXL vehicles) the rear axle will usually prevent the use of the electric start. With this robust and reliable FG chassis, which is equipped with a powerful 26 cm³ combustion engine, you get the ideal entry into the fascinating "royal class" of large scale RC models as well as into the competition.The model has a 530 wheelbase. The models are built on a 4 mm alloy chassis with double wishbones at front and rear axle. All borings of the alloy chassis are countersunk to prevent the screw heads from bearing out. The models are serial equipped with the 2-damper front axle which guarantees an optimal traction of both front wheels. At the front/rear axle you can adjust through track rods or adjusting screws with right-/left-handed thread the king pin angle, trailing effect and toe-in.Further equipment points are differential gear, 24 teeth steel pinion, oil-pressure shock absorbers with volume control and external adjusting ring for the initial spring preload.
