For Zenoah G230/240/260/270/290/320 und CY / Fuelie / Losi engines.A much smaller and lighter flywheel, in conjunction with the special air baffles, ensures that the engine gets more cooling air then with previously available modified flywheels! The fan from the CIS-ignition with fins on both sides is about 30% lighter (!) than the stock version! Needless to say an engine equipped with such a flywheel revs considerably faster and significantly higher, of course. This in itself is nothing new, because modified flywheels, even though not 30% lighter, are pretty common on modified engines. However, the problem with these modified flywheels is maintaining sufficient cooling for the engine, which is absolutely mandatory for a reliably running engine! The 20% smaller in diameter flywheel is primarily responsible for the very substantial performance increase by the SPEED TEC CRANK ignition . The lower inertia, which is quite crucial for engine performance, allows for an extremely fast and higher revving engine! The air baffles of the CIS-ignition ensure that the path of the cooling air is matched to the reduced diameter of the CIS-fan wheel and the engine gets more cooling! As our product video shows, the stock engine gained near 2,000 rpm through installation of the SPEED TEC CIS-ignition ! But perhaps the optimized torque is even more convincing. This for 30% reduced and 20% more centrally positioned flywheel mass gives your engine a stunning power increase.
