Kit contents:
1 pair each of mounted and glued Mammoth Supergrip Front H or M for the front and M or S for the rear.
These combinations are recommended for the recreational driver. Glued on FG Leopard Race rims, fits all FG, Smartech, Carson and many other cars.
Or for the ambitious driver:
Choice of 2 pairs H = hard, M = medium, S = soft or super soft = SS!
The softer the compound the more grip the tire will provide, but the harder the compound the longer the tire will last (as in the original Formula 1!)
With the same compound for front and rear axle even a 4WD car requires better driving skills! As the saying goes: It turns better ;-) But chances are that you will also produce a more or less gallant spin out every now and then! Due to the high torque load on the bonding of tires on largescale cars, checking the bonding from time to time and re-glueing (y0067) if necessary is unavoidable.
It is known that any driver has his own preferred combination! The white lettering on the tires has been applied for presentation purpose only. The tires will be delivered with black sidewall.

The Mammoth brings, due to its quite strong and large pins and the extreme width of the tire, especially on hard and low grip surfaces a high traction! The Mammoth is available in soft, medium and hard! The rule is: the harder the ground the softer the tire compound. Where other tires spin helplessly the Mammoth provides serious traction. With few exceptions, the Mammoth is usually for the rear axle only. The disadvantage of Mammoth tires: Because of their extreme width they need to be mounted on FG wheels with extension rings and wide tire inserts (same as for the FG wide slicks), which is a labor intensive job. From experience, we must strongly recommend against using rims from another manufacturer in combination with extension rings. Due to the before mentioned traction no other rim has been up to the task! Broken rims and torn squares were the result. However, the original FG-rim lasts without problems!
