Due to the extreme load created by the MadMax TARMAC BUSTER tires the rim was optimized again with a reinforcement ring.
The tires are fitted with a special rigid insert, which can handle the cornering forces and maintain the tires shape even on heavy cars like the Losi 5ive-T.
The TARMAC BUSTER MadMax are designed for use on flat surfaces. Your car will have good traction even on smooth pavement!
We recommend to check the beadlock screws after the run.

Hardened special screws for mounting the beadlock rings of MadMax and Losi DBXL rims.For HPI rims due to the screw head diameter only to be used in combination with non-HPI beadlock rings (i.e. MadMax or Losi 5ive-T)!The combination of larger diameter and substantially larger thread depth ensures a secure grip of the screws in the plastic of the rims; the coarse thread also allows for quick assembly.The large head with T10 hexalobular drive distributes the load as wide as possible on the ring.The screws are galvanized for rust protection.Please note: it is not recommended to use the screws in rims which had previously M3 screws installed. Genuine HT spare/option part.This adaptor allows you to install all MadMax/HPI tire/rim combinations on FG, Carso, Smartech 2WD/4WD and other cars with the same wheel shaft configuration. Losi 5ive tires can be used as well, but they hey have to be mounted on MadMax/HPI rims because Losi rims are too thick at the center. The adapter is drilled for 8 mm wheel shafts (FG, Smartech/Carson and many more!), hex size of wheel drive and wheel nut is 24 mm hex with M18x1.0 thread (same as HPI).Please note:FG wheel shafts come with either M6 or M8 thread size. It can even happen that a vehicle has different thread sizes front and rear! The off-road tire for hard packed dirt and spectacular drifts!Gives great results on those carpets which are typical for some off-road tracks. 616 grippy square studs per tire, a total of more then 2.400 for a complete set of tires, guarantee maximum traction! The lower profile of the outer stud rows reduces lateral traction and guarantee exceptional directional stability and allows for spectacular drifts! Therefore the car is less prone to undesirable side rolls!The Narrow-Grip 616 tires are mounted on a flexible 10 spoke rim with steel ring reinforced 24 mm hex drive. 10 screws per beadlock ring keep the tires in place. The Narrow-Grip 616 tires feature a firm foam insert, making them suitable even for heavier weight cars.To prevent premature wheel drive wear the fit to the rim is very tight. Therefore the rim should be properly aligned with the hex drive and completely mounted via tightening the wheel nut! Attention: When using the Narrow-Grip wheels on a Super Losi Rock-Rey model, special wheel hexes are required. Also on FG and Carson models.
