y1421 Engine quick mount for G320 Zenoah in FG 1/5 scale

Genuine HT spare/option part. The engine quick mount replaces the standard clutch housing. It allows a much faster installation or removal of the engine since the clutch side of the engine is only be clamped by one single screw. The gear plate remains in the vehicle, the motor flange on the engine.The engine quick mount fits all FG 2WD on-road cars with horizontal engine (except Formula 1) Sportsline, Competition and Evo (EVO model range till 2003, except Evo 2020 series).We are sorry, but due to the design the quick mount cannot be used for FG 1/6 off-road and monster cars.For the first time it is now possible to install the Zenoah G320 in these cars! For cars allready equipped with a FG quick mount only the engine flange y1423/02 is required.The quick mount is available in two versions:y1421/01 for all Zenoah and Chung Yang engines up to 30 cm³ with standard bolt pattern 50 x 36 mmy1421/02 for Zenoah G320When mounting the motor flange the bolts/nuts must be tightened together in small steps. To mount the studs from y1421/01 or the screws from y1421/02 the use of thread locking compound (link) is required.Please note: y1421/01 does not fit in combination with Zenoah OEM clutch!

Compatibility Zenoah / Losi 5ive-T:Please note that for installation in a Losi 5ive the fan cover must be swapped for a Losi or CY cover #5341 in order to fit the chassis" bolt pattern.If you want to install a Zenoah engine into the Losi 5ive, you usually have to use a fan cover from the CY engine.However, there is a workaround to maintain Zenoah fan cover.The adjustment is done via the pinion specific mounting plates for the engine. The change always affects only the rear, outer (carburetor side) plate under the fan cover. This is rotated by 180°; so that the embossed number on this plate faces the exhaust side of the engine!18T pinion: use 20T plate, rotated 180°19T pinion: use 19T plate, rotated 180°20T pinion: use 18T plate, rotated 180°On the plus side you gain the opportunity to easily mount a Zenoah engine keeping the original fan cover. On the other hand there will be the disadvantage of the necessity to combine two different sets of engine mounting plates when installing any pinion other than the stock 19T version. Therefore we do not recommend this workaround for everyday use.
