The GIANT GRIP provides giant traction through 96 about one cm² wide and 5 mm high strong lugs, getting ample grip even on loose surfaces like sand and soil.
Due to the extreme strain caused by the GIANT GRIP tires the MadMax rim with reinforcement ring had to be optimized once more.
The set consists of four tires, including tire inserts and MadMax EXTREME rims and 4 pieces adapter wheel nuts TT1020/01.
The GIANT GRIP tires come with strong special tire inserts which allow to transfer the power without canting, even on heavy cars like the Losi 5ive-T.

These adapter nuts, manufactured from billet 7075 aluminum allow for easy and precise installation of all MadMax, HPI and Losi tires and rims on the Traxxas X-Maxx. For the best result possible, nut and adapter are manufactured as a one-piece unit.
It should be noted that the wide rims can be used on the rear axle only. On the front axle they would limit the steering angle by grinding on lower a-arm and steering rod.
Traxxas has microencapsulated the wheel shafts of the X-Maxx to secure the wheel nuts. Like any thread locking compound this is not for eternity. After several tire changes the use of a normal screw locking compound is advised, we recommend it "y0113 / 01 medium strength".
The dimensions of the nut are specifically designed for use with MadMax, current HPI and Losi rims. Rims from Losi 5ive have slightly different dimensions in the hub area. This is meaningless on the large LOSI or HPI wheel adapters. With the smaller and shorter wheel nut thread of the X-Maxx wheel shafts you cannot compromise. Therefore there are also special nuts for the Losi rims/wheels available at our options menu.
However, somewhere in the past, the injection moulds for the HPI rims were slightly modified in the hub area. As part of that job the bore diameter has probably been slightly increased. Therefore, the use of older rims in combination with the adapter nuts makes it necessary to increase the rim bore a little bit.
Due to repeated requests for use: these wheel nuts replace the stock wheel nuts when installing the wheels!

TT1020 Top Tuning Adapter wheel nut

Fits Losi 5ive-T, 5ive Mini, Desert Buggy XL and all HPI Baja 5B and 5T/SC cars.Due to the extreme stress created by the MadMax SUPER GRIP tires, the rim has been optimized again.The tires come with a special rigid insert which transfers the applied forces without tilting; even with the heaviest cars like the Losi 5ive-T.All together, the SUPER GRIP lives up to its name and provides maximum grip, which makes it necessary to use the supplied 3 mm beadlock screws for the MadMax EXTREME rims instead of the usual 2.5 mm screws. For the best result possible, nut and adapter are manufactured as a one-piece unit.It should be noted that the wide rims can be used on the rear axle only. On the front axle they would limit the steering angle by grinding on lower a-arm and steering rod.Traxxas has microencapsulated the wheel shafts of the X-Maxx to secure the wheel nuts. Like any thread locking compound this is not for eternity. After several tire changes the use of a normal screw locking compound is advised, we recommend it "y0113 / 01 medium strength".The dimensions of the nut are specifically designed for use with MadMax, current HPI and Losi rims. Rims from Losi 5ive have slightly different dimensions in the hub area. This is meaningless on the large LOSI or HPI wheel adapters. With the smaller and shorter wheel nut thread of the X-Maxx wheel shafts you cannot compromise. Therefore there are also special nuts for the Losi rims/wheels available at our options menu.However, somewhere in the past, the injection moulds for the HPI rims were slightly modified in the hub area. As part of that job the bore diameter has probably been slightly increased. Therefore, the use of older rims in combination with the adapter nuts makes it necessary to increase the rim bore a little bit.Due to repeated requests for use: these wheel nuts replace the stock wheel nuts when installing the wheels!Contents:4 pieces

and - Hurrax HX400 extreme Grip Soft 175/70 mm tyre HURRAX extreme is one of the most successful tire in large scale off-road racing and specifically designed for astro turf and solid ground. With more than 700 (!) differently designed, closely spaced lugs and the 70 mm wide tread it is reasonably wear resistant and provides optimal grip with good side traction. If this - i.e. on the front axle - is not desired, you may cut the lugs at the tires outer edge to reduce cornering grip. This can be easily done with a small side cutter or strong nail scissors. In order to reduce the edging in the tire on the front axle.This makes a tire less aggressive during cornering and changes the cars behavior towards understeer. It becomes depending on the track conditions (i.e. wet!) a lot more drivable.An optimal vehicle setup can often be achieved by running already used HURRAX extreme tires on the front and new ones on the rear axle.This is especially true for 2WD models. 24 mm hex wheel adapter for installation of most all common large scale rims with corresponding socket (MadMax/Losi/HPI etc.) on Carson Dirt Attack cars. This allows the use of a variety of different tires for better adaptation to the surface. For installation the stock square drive is swapped for the hex version which is secured by an M6 set screw. The rims are then secured with the 24 mm wrench size nuts of the adapter.Attention: For the attachment of the wheels you also need wheel nuts with M18x1.5 thread (i.e. AT-5T004 ATOP Aluminum closed wheel nuts Losi 5ive-T/2.0/B, Mini, DBXL/2.0 and MTXL 22,90 EUR), which are also offered in our shop's option menu! BIG DIGGER 170x80 and 170x60 with black MadMax Extreme rims with 20 beadlock screws, with 24 mm hex socket and reinforced silver headlock rings for Losi 5ive-T and Desert Buggy XL as well as all HPI Baja 5 cars.The MadMax tires had 84 extremely strong tread blocks on the front tires and 96 on the rears, with more than 1 cm² cross-section and 6 mm tread depth, allow for best power transfer and provide excellent grip even on loose surfaces like sand or soil. Due to the extreme load created by the MadMax BIG DIGGER tires the rim was optimized again with a reinforcement ring.The tires are fitted with a special rigid insert, which can handle the cornering forces and maintain the tires shape even on heavy cars like the Losi 5ive-T.We recommend to check the beadlock screws after the run.
