CROSS BOND 170 x 80 mm and 170 x 60 mm tires with black MadMax Extreme 20 bolt-beadlock rims with 24 mm hex drive and reinforced beadlock rings were designed for use on loose surfaces. The extremely rigid and differently structured lugs of the CROSS BOND ensure optimum power transmission and also allow for excellent grip on loose surfaces, such as sand and soil. The lugs are raised at the treads outside, and therefore provide maximum grip, particularly when cornering where the tire is canted to the outside.

Due to the extreme load created by the MadMax CROSS BOND tires the rim was optimized again with a reinforcement ring.

The tires are fitted with a special rigid insert, which can handle the cornering forces and maintain the tires shape even on heavy cars.

We recommend to check the beadlock screws after the run.

The off-road tire for hard packed dirt and spectacular drifts!Gives great results on those carpets which are typical for some off-road tracks. 616 grippy square studs per tire, a total of more then 2.400 for a complete set of tires, guarantee maximum traction! The lower profile of the outer stud rows reduces lateral traction and guarantee exceptional directional stability and allows for spectacular drifts! Therefore the car is less prone to undesirable side rolls!The Narrow-Grip 616 tires are mounted on a flexible 10 spoke rim with steel ring reinforced 24 mm hex drive. 10 screws per beadlock ring keep the tires in place. The Narrow-Grip 616 tires feature a firm foam insert, making them suitable even for heavier weight cars.To prevent premature wheel drive wear the fit to the rim is very tight. Therefore the rim should be properly aligned with the hex drive and completely mounted via tightening the wheel nut! Attention: When using the Narrow-Grip wheels on a Super Losi Rock-Rey model, special wheel hexes are required. Also on FG and Carson models. Genuine Top Tuning spare/option part.TopTuning 24mm hex wheel drives are required if you want to run wheel combos with the standard 24mm hex drive (such as Losi 5ive-T/B; DBXL; HPI-Baja etc.!) on your Losi Super Baja-Rey and Super Rock Rey.The stock Super Baja-Rey / Super Rock Rey20 mm hex drives (# LOS252077) will be swapped for the TopTuning 24 mm version. No additional parts are required for installation of the 24 mm hex wheel drivers. The Losi Super Baja-Rey's fake brake discs and calipers must be removed prior to assembly.Attention: For the attachment of the wheels you also need wheel nuts with M18x1.5 thread (i.e. AT-5T004), which are also offered in our shop's option menu!Please note: The adapters only fit in combination with the standard plastic steering knuckles or wheel bearing carriers. The aluminium versions have a slightly larger bearing distance, which then prevents the drive pin from being fitted.As already mentioned in the Losi instruction manual, the gearing should be adjusted depending on terrain and tire tread.Depending on tire size the rear of the fender wells will need some cutting.Please note: the wide rear wheels from MadMax or HPI do not fit!This applies in particular to aggressive tread large diameter off-road tires and demanding terrain.
