The rim is the 6-spoke design with a steel reinforcement ring around the wheel drive. The NARROW-GRIP tires are available with either 18 mm square drive to fit FG & co. To prevent premature wheel drive wear the fit to the rim is very tight. Therefore the rim should be properly aligned with the square or hex drive and completely mounted via tightening the wheel nut! With more than 700 (!) differently designed, closely spaced lugs and the 70 mm wide tread it is reasonably wear resistant and provides optimal grip with good side traction. If this - i.e. on the front axle - is not desired, you may cut the lugs at the tires outer edge to reduce cornering grip. This can be easily done with a small side cutter or strong nail scissors. In order to reduce the edging in the tire on the front axle.This makes a tire less aggressive during cornering and changes the cars behavior towards understeer. Genuine Top Tuning spare/option part.TopTuning 24mm hex wheel drives are required if you want to run wheel combos with the standard 24mm hex drive (such as Losi 5ive-T/B; DBXL; HPI-Baja etc.!) on your Losi Super Baja-Rey and Super Rock Rey.The stock Super Baja-Rey / Super Rock Rey20 mm hex drives (# LOS252077) will be swapped for the TopTuning 24 mm version. No additional parts are required for installation of the 24 mm hex wheel drivers. The Losi Super Baja-Rey's fake brake discs and calipers must be removed prior to assembly.Attention: For the attachment of the wheels you also need wheel nuts with M18x1.5 thread (i.e. AT-5T004), which are also offered in our shop's option menu!Please note: The adapters only fit in combination with the standard plastic steering knuckles or wheel bearing carriers.
