The spectrum DX4S is the top 4-channel system especially also for use in 1/5 and 1/6 RC cars. It has extensive software-defined and pre-programmed mixers, an adjustment of the mixing ratio on-the-fly, ABS and much more. At the core of the new DX4S is the frequency-agile 2.4GHz DSMR protocol. DSMR can be used for any type of RC cars and boats. It is characterized by an excellent range and response speed - particularly in noisy 2.4GHz environments. DSMR is backwards compatible with DSM, DSM2 and marine spectrum receivers (except SR3300T), so that long-time Spektrum users won't need to replace the receivers they have unless they want the frequency-agility of a DSMR receiver for busy 2.4GHz environments.

Heading Hold
Heading Hold allows you to drive faster with the confidence of complete control. Heading Hold manages steering output by automatically keeping a vehicles tires aligned in the direction you chose. It will also precisely maintain vehicle direction when steering is returned to center, regardless of the amount of traction or ruggedness of the terrain. With Heading Hold, hitting a big jump is as easy as lining up and punching the trigger.
Throttle Management
Throttle Management helps you maintain maximum grip in the most challenging environments. Working in harmony with Heading Hold, it automatically adjusts RPM to minimize wheel spin and tail slides so you can accelerate faster with more control. Whether youre hitting the throttle at the apex of a turn or driving on a slippery surface, Throttle Management will help maximize traction when you need it most.
Adjustable sensitivity - The amount of stability assistance AVC technology provides can be adjusted to suit any combination of skill level, driving style and terrain. Depending on which Spektrum transmitter you use, adjustments can be made using programming functions or a steering rate knob. AVC functions can even be turned off completely for a more traditional driving experience.
Blinky Mode - The AVC receiver also has a so-called "Blinky Mode" by which the advantages of the AVC technology are completely turned off. In this mode, the receiver will flash for external visualization of the AVC inactivity.
Superhuman fast - AVC (Active Vehicle Control) calculates and corrects the optimal vehicle orientation about 180 times per second. Due to this lightning-fast response the control feels extremely precise.
