And without this isolator the gasoline would literally cook after a short operating time and therefore the engine would receive a leaner mixture. The much feared lean-out until the engine stalls is inevitably.Unfortunately, even a special isolator is often insufficient at higher ambient temperatures or when the engine is subjected to higher loads, e.g. in racing. In such scenarios the better heat dissipation of the Top Tuning carburetor heat sink contributes to the solution of the problem.The easy to install heat sink, requires a considerable manufacturing and milling effort and fits easily to all common 1:5/1:6 large scale cars, such as FG, Mecatech, Smartech/Carson, HPI, Losi, etc..For installation in FG 4WD cars the rear cross member # 66212 must be modified.Attention: the Allen head screw is an imperial size and therefore not compatible with metric Allen wrenches!
