Since the FG and Carson are having different internal teeths by the planetary gears, different versions for FG and Carson/Smartech 2WD are available.Even on heavy off-road use and especially on jumps there are often problems with the original plastic differential. Noticeable is also the relatively thin differential-tube of the serial-equipping. All screws at the bottom of the chassis are countersunk.Front and rear axle mounts as well as the engine unit are connected over the complete length of the chassis, therefore we achieved almost the stiffness of a monocoque chassis. The quick fix system of the engine makes a fast changing of the engine possible. The drive to the rear axle is carried out over several easy-running front gearwheels and an FG ball drive at the rear axle. A separate flange bearing holds the clutch bell in order to relieve the crankshaft. Front and rear axle with their various adjusting possibilities as king pin angle, castor a.s.o. consist of alloy delta wishbones below.
