This battery is especially for use in vehicles which are equipped with the Hitec Servo HS-900SGS/HS-1000SGT/1005SGT/HS-1100WP for external high-voltage power supply. This battery comes with a Y-adaptor harness for two connectors, one each JST and Futaba/Universal connector. The JST connector is used for hooking up to the steering servo; the universal connector is used for the voltage regulator.

The battery fits into the standard battery box of the Losi 5ive-T.

y1306 - Servo voltage regulator



The switching voltage regulator SBEC is supposed to act as a current supply for receivers and servos. It makes possible to use a wide range of input voltages from 2S up to 10S Li-XX cells. Setup of the output voltage between 5 and 8V is accomplished by a shorting plug jumper. This means that the SBEC is also prepared for use with new higher voltage HV-servos.

This voltage regulator is for use in combination with the Hitec Servo HS-900SGS/HS-1000SGT/HS-1005SGT/HS-1100WP and the special LiPo 14.8V/3,600mAh receiver battery y1304. It utilizes a 4S LiPo battery to deliver full battery voltage to the HS-900SGS/HS-1000SGT/HS-1005SGT/HS-1100WP servo with and the usual 6 - to 8 volt supply (depending on the servos) to the rest of the rx system. The output voltage is selectable.

We install the required connectors to the regulator. The connection to the T/B servo is designed as a direct power supply, so even the current for the T/B servo does not run through the receiver.
The regulator has connectors for battery, Receiver and T/B servo. The steering servos plugs directly into receiver and battery. The JR/universal connector on the battery is for the regulator, the BEC connector is for the steering servo power line.


Attention: the switch on the voltage regulator does not disconnect the Hitec HS-1000SGT/HS-1005SGT/HS-1100WP's power output stage from the battery, which has a standby drain of about 6 mA. To prevent deep discharge of the battery, the servo must be disconnected from the battery at the end of the day!

For your convenience you could install our new electronic high voltage switch y0767 between servo and battery.



Wire loom and heat shrink tubing to add a matching connector to the servos power line are included.

Genuine HT spare/option part.

This extremely strong servo horn is specifically designed with dimensions for the installation of the Hitec HS-900SGS/HS-1000SGT/HS-1005SGT/HS-1100WP high-performance servo in the Losi 5ive-T and Mini for steering application, but it can be used in other cars with this kind of servo.

It bolts directly to the servos stock aluminum disk.

The lever of this arm is longer than that of the servo saver. This gives you faster actuating speed of the steering.

A linkage with a double-sided arm can only be done properly if all corresponding levers are the same length and the linkages run exactly parallel. If this is not the case, the servo and servo saver shaft will try to change the distance to each other with every steering movement . Thus, undesirable constraining forces.
For this reason we decided to give preference to the single-sided arm.

Very strong linkage with M6 steel ball joints.
M6 threaded rod with lock nuts, balls with holes for M4 screws.

Maximum length about 96 mm, but through cutting the M6 rod allows for a minimum length of 48 mm.

Significantly stronger than the standard plastic version, and especially recommend when using the Hitec HS-900SGS/HS-1000SGT/HS-1005SGT/HS-1100WP servo, this linkage can be used with "normal" servos as well.

The threaded rod is not designed as a turnbuckle for a reason because there is not need to change the adjusted length for this application after installation. The setting accuracy of 0.5 mm (½ turn) means a maximum difference to the ideal length of 0.25 mm. This is always sufficient, the trim on the transmitter handles the final adjustment.

On the other hand, a connecting rod with the same thread on both ends will always keep its setting when installed, even when both lock nuts are not tightened against the ball joints. Therefore reliability is higher.

The extremely rigid and differently structured lugs of the CROSS BOND ensure optimum power transmission and also allow for excellent grip on loose surfaces, such as sand and soil. The operating voltage range has been expanded to 7.4 V, allowing the servo to be operated directly with up to two-cell LiPo batteries.Large 1 : 5 scale model cars make very exacting demands on the servos, and for many years the RHINO servo has set the standard with its extremely robust, outsize metal gearbox and 8 mm output shaft for the output device. An integral aluminium heat-sink cools the motor and electronics very effectively. Servo case gaskets make the unit dust-proof and splash-proof.
