MadMax MAXI PIN tyres have been specially developed for carpet race tracks! The special block tread pattern, with 480 knobs per tyre, provides excellent grip, but also puts extreme strain on the tyre and the rim. To stabilise the tyre, the outside of the tyre shoulder is equipped with vertical ribbing on the side, which minimises tilting under load and counteracts the shear forces that occur in bends. Furthermore, the MAXI PIN tyres have knobs positioned on the side of the outer side, which particularly support the steering behaviour of your RC car in bends.

Genuine HT spare/option part.This adaptor allows you to install all MadMax/HPI tire/rim combinations on FG, Carso, Smartech 2WD/4WD and other cars with the same wheel shaft configuration. Losi 5ive tires can be used as well, but they hey have to be mounted on MadMax/HPI rims because Losi rims are too thick at the center. The adapter is drilled for 8 mm wheel shafts (FG, Smartech/Carson and many more!), hex size of wheel drive and wheel nut is 24 mm hex with M18x1.0 thread (same as HPI).Please note:FG wheel shafts come with either M6 or M8 thread size. It can even happen that a vehicle has different thread sizes front and rear! The MadMax SUPERGRIP tires have been designed especially for use on tarmac. Even on fine-pored tarmac your car will still find enough grip! (As you can see in our video).On most 1/5 and 1/6 cars the best combination is the use of 60 mm wide front and 80 mm wide rear tires. The Losi 5ive-T Mini should run 60 mm wide MadMax SUPERGRIP tires all around, because the 80 mm wide SUPERGRIP tires are a bit too wide for the Mini body shell.The 80 mm wide MadMax tires are reinforced on the inside of the carcass with a special cross pattern in the tread section and ribs in the outside shoulder.MadMax SUPERGRIP tires are available in the following compounds: (embossed marking on the inside shoulder!)Breite:Soft:Medium:60 mm y1464/01y1464/0280 mm y1464/03y1464/04For running an rc-car on tarmac, the following recommendations apply:The dirtier the track or the colder the weather, the stickier (softer) the rear tires should be.A note for the front tires: 2WD cars should run slightly harder tires in front than in rear.On 4WD cars the same compound front and rear is usually a good choice!Of course, like in full scale motorsport it also applies to the MadMax SUPERGRIP tires that the softer the tire the higher the wear. MAXI PIN 185 x 75 with black colored MadMax Extreme rims, 20-fold screwed, very tough, with 24 mm hex drive and with reinforced orange beadlock rings for Losi and HPI. The MadMax MAXI PIN tires come with strong special tire inserts which allow transferring the power without canting, even on heavy cars. MadMax MAXI PIN tire was developed specifically for astro turf tracks! The special tread design with 480 studs per tire provides excellent grip, but also a high load on tire and rim! To stabilize the tire, the outer shoulder features radial ribs which minimizes the tilting under load and counteract the shear forces during cornering. Furthermore, the MAXI PIN tire has studs positioned on the outside shoulder, which support the steering in corners. All together the MAXI PIN tires provide maximum grip, which made it necessary to upgrade the beadlock screws on these MadMax EXTREME wheels. So they come with 3.0 mm screws instead of the usual 2.5 mm ones! Nevertheless, tires and beadlocks should be checked after every run.
