150 shifted long lugs and a central, 4 mm high ridge on the 60 mm wide front tire, and 210 pieces of square 6 x 4 mm studs on the 80 mm wide rear tire ensure optimal propulsion!
The flattened profile structure of the rows of knobs reduces the directional control and guarantees an exceptionally good on-center feel!
This makes the car less prone to unwanted traction rolls!
Due to the extreme load created by the MadMax Ultragrip tires the rim was optimized again with a reinforcement ring.
The tires are fitted with a special rigid insert, which can handle the cornering forces and maintain the tires shape even on heavy cars like the Losi 5ive-T.
The complete set includes two each 60 mm and 80 mm tires, or two pairs 60 mm tires for Losi 5ive T in a body covered with wheels (like the original body), with inserts and MadMax EXTREME rims!

Additionally, the seating of these screws should be checked after each use.The MadMax SUPERGRIP tires have been designed especially for use on tarmac. For the best result possible, nut and adapter are manufactured as a one-piece unit.It should be noted that the wide rims can be used on the rear axle only. On the front axle they would limit the steering angle by grinding on lower a-arm and steering rod.Traxxas has microencapsulated the wheel shafts of the X-Maxx to secure the wheel nuts. Like any thread locking compound this is not for eternity. After several tire changes the use of a normal screw locking compound is advised, we recommend it "y0113 / 01 medium strength".The dimensions of the nut are specifically designed for use with MadMax, current HPI and Losi rims. Rims from Losi 5ive have slightly different dimensions in the hub area. This is meaningless on the large LOSI or HPI wheel adapters. With the smaller and shorter wheel nut thread of the X-Maxx wheel shafts you cannot compromise. Therefore there are also special nuts for the Losi rims/wheels available at our options menu.However, somewhere in the past, the injection moulds for the HPI rims were slightly modified in the hub area. As part of that job the bore diameter has probably been slightly increased. Suitable for 8 mm axles.The stock Super Baja-Rey / Super Rock Rey20 mm hex drives (# LOS252077) will be swapped for the TopTuning 24 mm version. No additional parts are required for installation of the 24 mm hex wheel drivers. The Losi Super Baja-Rey's fake brake discs and calipers must be removed prior to assembly.Attention: For the attachment of the wheels you also need wheel nuts with M18x1.5 thread (i.e. AT-5T004), which are also offered in our shop's option menu!Please note: These adapters only fit in combination with the optional aluminum spindles or wheel bearing carriers. MAXI PIN 185 x 75 with black colored MadMax Extreme rims, 20-fold screwed, very tough, with 24 mm hex drive and with reinforced orange beadlock rings for Losi and HPI. The MadMax MAXI PIN tires come with strong special tire inserts which allow transferring the power without canting, even on heavy cars. MadMax MAXI PIN tire was developed specifically for astro turf tracks! The special tread design with 480 studs per tire provides excellent grip, but also a high load on tire and rim! To stabilize the tire, the outer shoulder features radial ribs which minimizes the tilting under load and counteract the shear forces during cornering. Furthermore, the MAXI PIN tire has studs positioned on the outside shoulder, which support the steering in corners. All together the MAXI PIN tires provide maximum grip, which made it necessary to upgrade the beadlock screws on these MadMax EXTREME wheels. So they come with 3.0 mm screws instead of the usual 2.5 mm ones! Nevertheless, tires and beadlocks should be checked after every run.
