Genuine SPEED TEC spare/option part.

Aluminum isolator with PEEK (polyether ether ketone) inserts for the mounting bolts and two heat shielding plates.

The PEEK bushings and heat shielding plates guarantee an optimized thermal insulation of the carb compared to the stock isolator. This prevents fuel vapor locks even at high ambient tempratures, which usually results in engines running too lean; especially in the long run.

This isolator is highly recommended for competition use and any modified engine.

Total height of the complete unit, including heat shielding plates and all gaskets: 24.7 mm

Please note: does not fit Zenoah G320 engine!

AREA-BJ047 Reed valve block V2 for Zenoah G320

This reed valve system converts a normal piston-port engine into a reed valve engine. It offers the advantage of increased intake duration for a better charge for more power. As a positive side effect no fresh gas loss occurs during the downward movement of the piston because the membranes close this path.The reed valve block replaces the usual stock insulator. To use the advantage of the reed system, it is necessary to modify the piston skirt on the intake side. Depending on the engine it is advantageous for best results, to slightly match the cylinders intake port to the Epoxy insulator plate at the bottom of the reed valve system. Both steps are described in the installation instructions for Zenoah and Chung Yang engines. Our thanks for these instructions go to our customer Thomas Hoenicke.Note: For the time being the epoxy insulator plate must be slightly reworked to fit a G320 Zenoah engine. The manual has been written with the conversion of a G320, the affected area for modification is therefore shown.The unit is 24.5 mm high.

The material components of this high quality engineering plastic, with an extremely high melting point of 280° C, guarantee optimal heat dissipation. Unlike the original insulator, this allows for a much better thermal insulation of the carburetor and therefore prevents fuel vapor lock in the carburetor at high ambient temperatures! The leaning of the engine at higher temperatures is counteracted! The 50% increased height and optimized port allows for lower fuel consumption! 60% glass fiber content of the SPEED TEC tuning insulator makes for strong mounting threads, providing a sturdy base for the usual airboxes or large off-road air filters which are common in competition applications.
