SPEED TEC tuning insulator, slanted. Especially for 1/5 & 1/6 offroad cars
The slanteded version is required for many offroad cars when installing a taller insulator and for HPI Baja series cars in general.
The material components of this high quality engineering plastic, with an extremely high melting point of 280° C, guarantee optimal heat dissipation. Unlike the original insulator, this allows for a much better thermal insulation of the carburetor and therefore prevents fuel vapor lock in the carburetor at high ambient temperatures!
The leaning out of the engine at higher temperatures is counteracted!
The increased height and optimized port allows for lower fuel consumption!
Due to the air boxes mandatory for racing and the required off-road air filters, a strong and rigid insulator is a must!
No more stripped threads, no warpage and the resulting air leaks at the insulator anymore! So many weird running behaviors, for example if the engine is warmed up and a tiny gap occurred at the insulator, are caused by this distortion of a plastic insulator.
The increased heat transfer of the aluminum is taken into account by addition of an insulator plate. Therefore the aluminum intake is largely insulated. Due to the face-milled surfaces of the aluminum intake you reach a greater durability of the gaskets.

Sintered steel clutch for Zenoah and many other rc-car engines from 23 cm³ to 32 cm³. incl. clutch spring!Note: The sintered steel clutch needs a break in period of at least half an hour run time after their first installation. Only then the clutch surface reaches the desired grip and provides the necessary friction. After that the clutch will show consistent operation and extremely low wear!With 80 grams the weight of the clutch is about the same as the usual OEM clutches.As with all non-adjustable clutches a periodic monitoring of the clutch spring is recommended.
