The MCD Astro-Grip is one of the most widely used tires in large scale off-road racing. Especially on astro turf and firm clay it provides optimal grip and is resistant to wear. The reinforced shoulder largely protects the tire from damage. Therefore the radial ribbing should normally be mounted on the outside of the. Due to the increased stiffness and some sort of added tread, the ribs also improve the tires traction during cornering.If this effect is not desired (i.e to reduce steering on the front axle), you can also mount the tires with the ribs to the inside, of course. It just has be considered when you glue the tires. Another way to reduce the tires grip at the outer edge is cutting some of the outer pins. This makes a tire less aggressive during cornering; another possibility to match the cars behavior to the track and make it more drivable. To protect a car from a crash in case the power supply fails is no easy task. The mechanical devices that are used to do the job are either bulky or cause a higher drain from the battery. The failsafe module is a more efficient way.The module controls the battery pack's voltage and takes control of the throttle servo when the voltage goes below 4.7 volts. As an additional feature you can supply a backup battery pack to power the throttle servo in case the main pack falls completely. The failsafe position of the throttle servo is adjustable.
A small, lightweight electronic module which is connected between the receiver and one servo of your AM or FM radio control system. If the radio control system should fail, the receiver suffer interference, or the voltage of the receiver battery fall to a dangerous level, the servo connected to the unit moves to a pre-selected position, e.g. full brake, and thereby prevents motor damage through over-revving.

Failsafe unit with adjustable servo position, very low current drain (0.05mA). Excellent value for money!The circuit responds to failure of the control signals. When transmitter and receiver work correctly, the received control pulses determine deflection of the servos; but as soon as control pulses are missing, the circuit lets the connected servo run to a pre-set safety position. Thereby, loss of the model can be avoided.Attention: not compatible with digital servos!

The 2WD-465 Sportsline model is built on the short chassis with double a-arms suspension front and rear. The vehicle is equippedwith the 2-shocks front suspension as standard, which ensures optimum traction for both front wheels.On the GT2, the front axle has been widened to 384 mm. The rear axle is 395 mm wide.Technical description:The model has a 465 wheelbase. The models are built on a 4mm alloy chassis with double wishbones at front and rear axle. All borings of the alloy chassis are countersunk to prevent the screw heads from bearing out. The models are serial equipped with the 2-damper front axle which guarantees an optimal traction of both front wheels. At the front/rear axle you can adjust through track rods or adjusting screws with right-/left-handed thread the king pin angle, trailing effect and toe-in. Further equipment points are front disk brakes, differential gear, easy-running FG ball drive, alloy brake calliper with big brake disk, stabilizer bar front and rear, tuned pipe muffler, rear brace, 24T steel pinion, spark plug cap suppression cover, latest version (Evo) oil-pressure shock absorbers with volume control and external adjusting ring for the initial spring preload.
