For all Zenoah G230/240/260/270/290/320 / CY / Fuelie / PT / Losi / CarsonAN - expansion sealing gaskets are in use in the 2-stroke motor sports for years and are based on NBR-linked cellulose fibers. They are especially used for sealing hot oils, greases and fuels! The sealing material is compressed during assembly, and as soon as it comes into contact with fuel, it swells again. Thus it is i.e. possible to make up for irregularities in the sealed surfaces (i.e. cylinder / crankcase) and seal them properly! With more than 700 (!) differently designed, closely spaced lugs and the 70 mm wide tread it is reasonably wear resistant and provides optimal grip with good side traction. If this - i.e. on the front axle - is not desired, you may cut the lugs at the tires outer edge to reduce cornering grip. This can be easily done with a small side cutter or strong nail scissors. In order to reduce the edging in the tire on the front axle.This makes a tire less aggressive during cornering and changes the cars behavior towards understeer.
