Genuine HT spare/option part.Wheel squares made of high-strength aluminum, hardened, with two M6 mounting threads Suitable for most 1/6 and 1/5 rc-cars. Through the use of two 6 mm screws a significantly higher retention force is achieved. Yet it is still recommended to use medium strength thread lock (link y0114)! The hard anodizing (HART-COAT) guarantees much lower wear of the squares! Especially recommended when using wheel mounted brake discs! Four 3x16 dowel pins per square are included which prevent the squares from spinning in the rim. Press fitting them into the wheel squares is optional. The 12, 14 and 17 mm wide squares feature a groove for inserting a C-clip (link 6106/05), which acts as a guide for the brake disk. The narrow 9.5 mm wide squares dont need a clip; the close sitting rim will guide the disk. The part of the involutes? curve that defines the tooth profile is changed. Positively regraded (lower number of teeth) pinions are stronger and run smoother, the reduced strength of negatively regraded pinions doesn?t really matter.
Nitrided hardened, highly wear-resistant.Not suitable for Smartech and Carson models. Suitable for FG offroad models 2WD on the clutch bell to the 42 main gear. This pinion is profile shifted and has a 1.5 module. This means that the number of teeth of the gear is changed compared to the previously known values while the diameter remains the same. The area of the involute curve that determines the tooth profile is shifted. Positively shifted gears (fewer teeth than normal) are more stable and run more smoothly; the slightly lower strength of negatively shifted gears is irrelevant. 1 piece
