This carriers makes it possible to run steel spur gears on the layshaft. Pebbles heat and the high torque of monster truck applications are no longer a problem.The carrier is designed for reverse installation as seen on the FG EVO car, where the hubs of the pinion and the spur gear carrier are pointing to the outside of the car. The carrier features M8 (eight, no typo) grub screws for installation on the layshaft. This means that the tip of the screw is as wide as the flat area on the shaft and ensures best possible load distribution.Please note: the wide FG 48T spur gear 6048/2 does not fit this adapter, but it wouldn't be recommended for this application anyway; it's way too heavy.Content:1 piece

Through the use of two 6 mm screws a significantly higher retention force is achieved. Yet it is still recommended to use medium strength thread lock (link y0114)! The hard anodizing (HART-COAT) guarantees much lower wear of the squares! Especially recommended when using wheel mounted brake discs! Four 3x16 dowel pins per square are included which prevent the squares from spinning in the rim. Press fitting them into the wheel squares is optional. The 12, 14 and 17 mm wide squares feature a groove for inserting a C-clip (link 6106/05), which acts as a guide for the brake disk. The narrow 9.5 mm wide squares dont need a clip; the close sitting rim will guide the disk.
