No more stripped threads, no warpage and the resulting air leaks at the insulator anymore! So many weird running behaviors, for example if the engine is warmed up and a tiny gap occurred at the insulator, are caused by this distortion of a plastic insulator. The increased heat transfer of the aluminum is taken into account by addition of an insulator plate. Therefore the aluminum intake is largely insulated. 2020-18 Mecatech Adjustable 3 Shoe Clutch

Genuine Mecatech spare/option part. This completely new developed adjustable clutch fits by default in combination with the Mecatech and Genius clutch bells. But combined with a special washer it can also be used on other brands.The shoes in this clutch are mounted in the direction of rotation (reverse), similar to other actual clutch designs.It is of course possible adjust this clutch to engage at different rpm's. Genuine HT spare/option part.Wheel squares made of high-strength aluminum, hardened, with two M6 mounting threads Suitable for most 1/6 and 1/5 rc-cars. Through the use of two 6 mm screws a significantly higher retention force is achieved. Yet it is still recommended to use medium strength thread lock (link y0114)! The hard anodizing (HART-COAT) guarantees much lower wear of the squares! Especially recommended when using wheel mounted brake discs! Four 3x16 dowel pins per square are included which prevent the squares from spinning in the rim. Press fitting them into the wheel squares is optional. The 12, 14 and 17 mm wide squares feature a groove for inserting a C-clip (link 6106/05), which acts as a guide for the brake disk. The narrow 9.5 mm wide squares dont need a clip; the close sitting rim will guide the disk.
