MadMax SUPER GRIP Soft 170x80/x60 for FG, Smartech, HPI, Losi, Arrma & Co.

SUPER GRIP 170 x 80 mm and 170 x 60 mm with black MadMax Extreme rims for 18 mm square or 24 mm hex wheel drive, 20 beadlock screws per rim and reinforced orange beadlock rings. Fits FG, Smartech, Losi 5ive-T, 5ive Mini, Desert Buggy XL and all HPI Baja 5B and 5T/SC cars.Due to the extreme stress created by the MadMax SUPER GRIP tires, the rim has been optimized again.The tires come with a special rigid insert which transfers the applied forces without tilting; even with the heaviest cars like the Losi 5ive-T.All together, the SUPER GRIP lives up to its name and provides maximum grip, which makes it necessary to use the supplied 3 mm beadlock screws for the MadMax EXTREME rims instead of the usual 2.5 mm screws. Additionally, the seating of these screws should be checked after each use.The MadMax SUPERGRIP tires have been designed especially for use on tarmac. Even on fine-pored tarmac your car will still find enough grip! (As you can see in our video.) On most 1/5 and 1/6 cars the best combination is the use of 60 mm wide front and 80 mm wide rear tires. The Losi 5ive-T and Super Baja Rey should run 60 mm wide MadMax SUPERGRIP tires all around, because the 80 mm wide SUPERGRIP tires are a bit too wide for the body shell.The 80 mm wide MadMax tires are reinforced on the inside of the carcass with a special cross pattern in the tread section and ribs in the outside shoulder.The MadMax SUPERGRIP has a special on-road tread. With this robust and reliable FG chassis, which is equipped with a powerful 26 cm³ combustion engine, you get the ideal entry into the fascinating "royal class" of large scale RC models as well as into the competition.A roll cage was installed for more rigidity and protection of the vehicle.The model has a 510 wheelbase. The models are built on a 4 mm alloy chassis with double wishbones at front and rear axle. All borings of the alloy chassis are countersunk to prevent the screw heads from bearing out. The models are serial equipped with the 2-damper front axle which guarantees an optimal traction of both front wheels. At the front/rear axle you can adjust through track rods or adjusting screws with right-/left-handed thread the king pin angle, trailing effect and toe-in.Further equipment points are differential gear, 24 teeth steel pinion, oil-pressure shock absorbers with volume control and external adjusting ring for the initial spring preload. The new Stadium Truck tires S are characterized by a lot of grip and stability in curves. This was achieved through a newly developped, softer rubber mixture. The tires are glued on Stadium chrome rims. Due to the high torque load on the bonding of tires on largescale cars, checking the bonding from time to time and re-glueing (y0067) if necessary is unavoidable.These Stadium tires have a bigger square depth, this reduces a cylindrical turning of the square wheel significantly.
