SPEED TEC tuning insulator 26 mm, angled. Especially for 1/5 & 1/6 offroad cars The angled version is required for many offroad cars when installing a taller insulator and for HPI Baja series cars as well. The material components of this high quality engineering plastic, with an extremely high melting point of 280° C, guarantee optimal heat dissipation. Unlike the original insulator, this allows for a much better thermal insulation of the carburetor and therefore prevents fuel vapor lock in the carburetor at high ambient temperatures! The leaning of the engine at higher temperatures is counteracted! The 50% increased height and optimized port allows for lower fuel consumption! 60% glass fiber content of the SPEED TEC tuning insulator makes for strong mounting threads, providing a sturdy base for the usual airboxes or large off-road air filters which are common in competition applications.
