Product information "y0726 Gas-nitrided tuning clutch bell for Losi 5ive-T/2.0/B and Mini"

Gas-nitrided tuning clutch bell machined from high grade steel with a hole for easy clutch adjustment. Special vents remove dirt and clutch lining debris automatically, preventing it from accumulating in the clutch bell and causing premature wear to clutch bell and linings. They aid in cooling of the clutch bell as well.
The clutch bell features a significantly reinforced wearing surface and face which guarantees dimensional stability even under high loads! The shaft is a tiny bit longer than stock (about 0.2 mm) to prevent the bearings from binding.

Since this clutch bell is single-piece machined from bar stock there is no weld bead on the inside of the face plate. The gained space allows now to use the adjustable GPM Big Extreme clutch.

Suitable for genuine slot drive Losi pinions.
Comes with bolts and spring washers included.

The bolt hole is countersunk from the inside so you can also use a flat head screw from the inside and a nut on the outside if you like.

Special single component epoxy adhesive for bonding clutch shoes; suitable for extreme operating temperatures (up to 200°C!) Important note for processing: For the final cure of the bond Clutch-Safe must be tempered at 170°C for 1 hour! (1 hour at 170°C in the oven!) The extremely high temperature load on the clutch shoes when used in off-road cars caused by increased clutch slippage, the shock of jumps and the combination with sometimes very high vehicle weights (up to 18 kg!) make bonding with Clutch-Safe highly recommended. y1379 Pinion fastening set with nut for Losi 5ive-T/2.0 and Mini
This set allows for fastening the pinion to the clutch bell utilizing a full metal self locking nut when using our gas-nitrided clutch bell y0726. The screw will be fully inserted into the clutch bell from the backside using high strength thread locking compound. This setup provides a couple of significant advantages:This self locking nut does not use the usual plastic insert; therefore it is completely temperature resistant!Theres no need to wait for the thread locking compound to cure after a pinion change; the connection is safe and ready to use immediately. For safety reasons nut and spring lock washers should only be used once.No need to worry about worn-out Allen screw heads.In case the screw ever breaks at the point where it enters the pinion, it can still be removed with ordinary tools. Theres still the like new screw head inside the clutch bell ready for screw removal. Sintered steel clutch for Zenoah and many other rc-car engines from 23 cm³ to 32 cm³.Note: The sintered steel clutch needs a break in period of at least half an hour run time after their first installation. Only then the clutch surface reaches the desired grip and provides the necessary friction. After that the clutch will show consistent operation and extremely low wear!With 80 grams the weight of the clutch is about the same as the usual OEM clutches.As with all non-adjustable clutches a periodic monitoring of the clutch spring is recommended. By changing the spring, it is also possible to match your car to the track conditions, i.e.: the harder the spring, the higher the stall speed of the clutch.If not on hand, for installation of the sintered steel clutch a clutch spring, the Zenoah screw set # 7318 and the original Zenoah clutch mount # 7315 are required!
