The arms can also be installed as an upgrade in Sportsline trucks up to and including the 13 series. The arms are compatible with all other FG parts like uprights, Evo shock mounts and Evo stabilizer bar.Due to the increased width you will also need longer driveshafts turnbuckles for the upper a-arms and shock shafts for installation in an existing Evo. The Mammoth brings, due to its quite strong and large pins and the extreme width of the tire, especially on hard and low grip surfaces a high traction! The Mammoth is available in soft, medium and hard! The rule is: the harder the ground the softer the tire compound. Where other tires spin helplessly the Mammoth provides serious traction. With few exceptions, the Mammoth is usually for the rear axle only. The white lettering on the tires has been applied for presentation purpose only. The tires will be delivered with black sidewall. The disadvantage of Mammoth tires: Because of their extreme width they need to be mounted on FG wheels with extension rings and wide tire inserts (same as for the FG wide slicks), which is a labor intensive job. From experience, we must strongly recommend against using rims from another manufacturer in combination with extension rings. Due to the before mentioned traction no other rim has been up to the task! Broken rims and torn squares were the result. All screws at the bottom of the chassis are countersunk.Front and rear axle mounts as well as the engine unit are connected over the complete length of the chassis, therefore we achieved almost the stiffness of a monocoque chassis.
