y0045 GPM Crankcase cover for 1/5 & 1/6

To ensure the required cooling for current 1/5 and 1/6 engines the flywheels have fins on both sides. Therefore the fan housing has large openings on the crankcase side for the required air supply. However, the risk of foreign objects (grass, sand, or even stones!) entering here Is very high! As a result, broken fins on the flywheel occur frequently. This leads to reduced cooling efficiency and - even more critical vibrations from a flywheel which is out of balance due to missing fins. Therefore, this kind of flywheel protection is highly recommended, especially for offroad use. The product video explains the handling in detail! Note:It is essential to thoroughly clean and degrease the crankcase prior to attaching the hook-and-loop tape (OKS2661)!For installation on Chung-Yang and Zenoah engines in FG cars, the crankcase cover must be slightly modified in two places where the engine mount is attached (see Figure 6 and 7). Furthermore the fit of the fabric must be as tight as possible in the region of the layshaft pinion (in front of the differential ring gear!) The secure hose connection for engine or tank removal! Advantages of the Kent system quick couplings: A safe opening and closing with one hand, as soon as one side is fixed. The design of the "shut-off" valve is a double chamber system, which closes when disconnecting the coupling. (This design enables easy and safe opening of the quick couplings, even under high pressure. Similarly, just as in low pressure applications.) You feel a snap when connecting the couplings, preventing over-tightening or accidental opening. The actions of opening and closing the quick couplings are identical, so that the handling is extremely simple. An ergonomic design guarantees easy handling, yet the space requirement for the couplings is low. Long and safe life of the couplings even with frequent connection and disconnection.
