The design of the "shut-off" valve is a double chamber system, which closes when disconnecting the coupling. (This design enables easy and safe opening of the quick couplings, even under high pressure. Similarly, just as in low pressure applications.) You feel a snap when connecting the couplings, preventing over-tightening or accidental opening. The actions of opening and closing the quick couplings are identical, so that the handling is extremely simple. An ergonomic design guarantees easy handling, yet the space requirement for the couplings is low. Long and safe life of the couplings even with frequent connection and disconnection. All these problems are a thing of the past with the hybrid starter.With the help of a cordless screwdriver the engine can be started very easily and if the battery of the cordless screwdriver is empty, the engine can be started by using the conventional way with the pull-rope starter.Please note:The starter shaft for electric start is inserted in a straight line in extension of the crankshaft. No part of the vehicle must be in the way here. On a model with a longitudinally mounted engine (e.g. Losi 5ive or DBXL vehicles) the rear axle will usually prevent the use of the electric start. And without this isolator the gasoline would literally cook after a short operating time and therefore the engine would receive a leaner mixture. The much feared lean-out until the engine stalls is inevitably.Unfortunately, even a special isolator is often insufficient at higher ambient temperatures or when the engine is subjected to higher loads, e.g. in racing.
