Genuine Top Tuning spare/option part.TopTuning 24mm hex wheel drives are required if you want to run wheel combos with the standard 24mm hex drive (such as Losi 5ive-T/B; DBXL; HPI-Baja etc.!) on your Losi Super Baja-Rey and Super Rock Rey.The stock Super Baja-Rey / Super Rock Rey20 mm hex drives (# LOS252077) will be swapped for the TopTuning 24 mm version. No additional parts are required for installation of the 24 mm hex wheel drivers. The Losi Super Baja-Rey's fake brake discs and calipers must be removed prior to assembly.Attention: For the attachment of the wheels you also need wheel nuts with M18x1.5 thread (i.e. AT-5T004), which are also offered in our shop's option menu!Please note: The adapters only fit in combination with the standard plastic steering knuckles or wheel bearing carriers. The aluminium versions have a slightly larger bearing distance, which then prevents the drive pin from being fitted.As already mentioned in the Losi instruction manual, the gearing should be adjusted depending on terrain and tire tread.Depending on tire size the rear of the fenderwells will need some cutting.This applies in particular to aggressive tread large diameter off-road tires and demanding terrain. CROSS BOND 170 x 80 mm and 170 x 60 mm tires with black MadMax Extreme 20 bolt-beadlock rims with 24 mm hex drive and reinforced beadlock rings were designed for use on loose surfaces. The extremely rigid and differently structured lugs of the CROSS BOND ensure optimum power transmission and also allow for excellent grip on loose surfaces, such as sand and soil. The lugs are raised at the treads outside, and therefore provide maximum grip, particularly when cornering where the tire is canted to the outside. The OVER LANDER were designed as all-terrain tires that can be used on virtually all surfaces because of its tightly attached lug tread pattern When a terrain includes sand, gravel and grass, the Overlander is the right choice! It can even be used on partially paved tracks!Of course, the OVER LANDER allround tire will not make special purpose tires like the TARMAC BUSTER,BIG DIGGER or CROSS BOND obsolete. SUPER GRIP 170 x 80 mm and 170 x 60 mm with black MadMax Extreme rims for 24 mm hex wheel drive, 20 beadlock screws per rim and reinforced silver beadlock rings. Fits Losi 5ive-T, 5ive Mini, Desert Buggy XL and all HPI Baja 5B and 5T/SC cars.Due to the extreme stress created by the MadMax SUPER GRIP tires, the rim has been optimized again.The tires come with a special rigid insert which transfers the applied forces without tilting; even with the heaviest cars like the Losi 5ive-T.All together, the SUPER GRIP lives up to its name and provides maximum grip, which makes it necessary to use the supplied 3 mm beadlock screws for the MadMax EXTREME rims instead of the usual 2.5 mm screws. Additionally, the seating of these screws should be checked after each use.The MadMax SUPERGRIP tires have been designed especially for use on tarmac. Even on fine-pored tarmac your car will still find enough grip! (As you can see in our video.) On most 1/5 and 1/6 cars the best combination is the use of 60 mm wide front and 80 mm wide rear tires. The medium compound tire lasts significantly longer than the soft version!The MadMax SUPERGRIP has a special on-road tread. Off-road tires for sandy underground! Gives great results on those carpets which are typical for some off-road tracks. 462 grippy square studs per tire, a total of more then 1800 for a complete set of tires, guarantee maximum traction! The lower profile of the outer stud rows reduces lateral traction and guarantee exceptional directional stability! Therefore the car is less prone to undesirable side rolls! The rim is the 6-spoke design with a steel reinforcement ring around the wheel drive. The NARROW-GRIP tires are available with either 18 mm square drive to fit FG & co. or with 24mm hex for Losi, HPI Baja 5 series cars and they allready glued!To prevent premature wheel drive wear the fit to the rim is very tight. Therefore the rim should be properly aligned with the square or hex drive and completely mounted via tightening the wheel nut! Due to this notice that kind of failure will not be compensated.
