The alloy housing has an outside thread to adjust the damper spring. The upper alloy shock absorber seal is equipped with a ventilation boring which makes the refilling if the damper easier.
Completely new is the lower shock absorber seal with the plastic guiding bushes for the damper piston rod and for an easier chaning of the o-rings. The alloy adjusting ring has a socket for the spring collet and an adjusting mark.
The shock absorber has an diameter of approx. 16 mm. Suitable for all damper springs with approx. 17 mm inside diameter .
With 110 mm hole distance.

Genuine HT spare/option part. O-ring piston for the red FG buggy shocks for optimum shock performance.These pistons cause almost no wear to the shock body. Because of this we recommend a break-in period of a couple of gas tanks for the shocks with the original piston to smoothen the body's surface. Then swap the pistons for the new o-ring piston. Silicone oil recommendation: The GPM-Spezial Cross shock absorbers are filled with silicone oil viscosity 1000. This viscosity provides very good damping properties at normal outside temperatures. If softer damping is required, oil with a viscosity of 500 or 600 is recommended; for harder damping, 1500 or higher is recommended. One 50 ml bottle of y0038 is sufficient for five long or six short dampers.
