Completely new revised and in important details improved Mini Block Off-Road tires. The rubber material is more wear resisting, grip and traction were improved and the tire wall was reinforced to prevent a tearing of the rubber. The tire inserts are now stronger and therefore more wear resistant. The FG Mini Block tires are especially well-suited for slightly loose and humid ground.
We recommend the M and S version in the front and the rear. The H version with slightly less grip can be used for the front axle. The Mini Block tires are also well-suited as front tires for 2WD models in combination with the Mini Pin tires on the rear axle.
The tires are ready glued on the new Leo 1:6 wheels. For the assembly you need the 12mm square wheel drivers (ItemN°. 06107/07). The glued tires are not suitable for the FG models Marder, Beetle, Off-Road Buggy and Monster models.

For technical reasons we had to modify the square wheel adapter of the new Off-Road wheel 2011. Therefore it is necessary to mount the 12mm alum. square wheel driver (ItemN°. 06107/07) for this wheel. After the assembly of this square wheel driver it is possible to drive also GRP or Hörmann wheels without any further modifications. We have marked the Off-Road wheel 2011 on the inside with the number 1.

HURRAX extreme is one of the most successful tire in large scale off-road racing and specifically designed for astro turf and solid ground. With more than 700 (!) differently designed, closely spaced lugs and the 70 mm wide tread it is reasonably wear resistant and provides optimal grip with good side traction. If this - i.e. on the front axle - is not desired, you may cut the lugs at the tires outer edge to reduce cornering grip. This can be easily done with a small side cutter or strong nail scissors. In order to reduce the edging in the tire on the front axle.This makes a tire less aggressive during cornering and changes the cars behavior towards understeer. It becomes depending on the track conditions (i.e. wet!) a lot more drivable.An optimal vehicle setup can often be achieved by running already used HURRAX extreme tires on the front and new ones on the rear axle.This is especially true for 2WD models. The V-pin competition tire is particularly suitable for tracks with loose and sandy surface.The high tread profile, extended to the tire shoulder requires a high manufacturing cost.This tread design guarantees an extremely high side traction and provides maximum propulsion especially on surfaces like sand and loose soil for optimum.A well proven combination is the use of Mammoth tires in the rear and V-pin at the front.By cutting of the tread profile of the V-pin tires you can adjust your car's handling easily. The partly or nearly complete removal of the V-pin tire's tread on the outside of the tire, greatly affects the tire's side bite when cornering.
