HURRAX extreme is one of the most successful tire in large scale off-road racing and specifically designed for astro turf and solid ground. With more than 700 (!) differently designed, closely spaced lugs and the 70 mm wide tread it is reasonably wear resistant and provides optimal grip with good side traction. If this - i.e. on the front axle - is not desired, you may cut the lugs at the tires outer edge to reduce cornering grip. This can be easily done with a small side cutter or strong nail scissors. In order to reduce the edging in the tire on the front axle.This makes a tire less aggressive during cornering and changes the cars behavior towards understeer. It becomes depending on the track conditions (i.e. wet!) a lot more drivable.An optimal vehicle setup can often be achieved by running already used HURRAX extreme tires on the front and new ones on the rear axle.This is especially true for 2WD models. Astro Grip tyre soft on white GRP disc rim with 24mm hexagon glued.  The MCD Astro-Grip is one of the most popular tyres on big scale off-road races. Specially designed for artificial turf and hard ground. Provides optimum grip and is low-wear at the same time.  Thanks to the reinforced tyre shoulder, the tyre is largely protected against damage.  The vertical ribbing should normally be used on the outside of the tyre and also protects against damage.  The ribbing also ensures that the tyre builds up a little more grip on the outer edge of the tyre on this side due to the higher strength.  Dimensions:  Outer diameter: approx. 180 mm  Inner diameter: approx. 130 mm  Width: approx. 65 mm Content: 2 pieces 1 pair

1 pair of y1631/01 extra-wide off-road tyres, medium, suitable for 1/6 FG buggy/truck rims with widening ring glued on the outside! For Marder and Offroad Buggy, 17 mm 4-square drive pins should be fitted at the front and 14 mm at the rear axle.
