Completely mounted, with a 26 cm³ combustion engine and final speed of almost 100 km per hour, what else would you want?A further additional improvement is the installed front disk brake. A clear polycarbonate bodyshell is included.Quality and high-class equipment to a sensible price.Technical description of the Formula 1 Sportsline chassis:The undercarriage of the FG Formula 1 is built on a high-strength 5 mm alloy chassis. All chassis borings (screws) are countersunk. The front and rear axle with their various adjusting possibilities as king pin angle, trailing effect etc. consist of double delta wishbones. The double delta wishbones of the rear axle are supported by additional track rods which enable you a very fast set-up. All adjustments can be made without a dismounting of parts according to the fixed wishbone threaded rods with right-/left-handed thread.The model is equipped with 4 alloy oil-pressure shock absorbers. The push-rod suspension ensures the transmission between single wheel suspension and shock absorber.We deliver this chassis with a powerful 26 cc combustion engine. The engine's power is transmitted over a four-block Teflon clutch on a synchronous belt drive. This synchronous belt drive is also designed for a higher driving power. The BBS wheels and the tires are copies of the big models. All rotating parts are supported by ball bearings.The construction of the Formula 1 chassis is not identical with the other 1:5 scale FG models such as Merc. C-Class, Race Truck a.s.o. and therefore it can?t be converted into or from these models by a conversion kit.You can select the car with complete RTR-equipment from the options menu. With the Big Scale-EXTREME an adjustable clutch for very special requirements has been designed:For large-displacement enginesFor heavy or high traction cars (Losi, HPI)For modified performance enginesFor the demanding off-road useRapid wear of a clutch is a sign of constant slipping, even beyond engagement speed. In this case, the clutch does not transfer the applied torque.This is where the Big ScaleEXTREME sets a new standard.The new design of the "Extreme" prevents the centrifugal forces of clutch springs or lever side of the clutch shoes from counteracting the centrifugal force of the friction pad side even after engagement.As a result this clutch can transfer lots of power with minimal wear.The new design ensures that the centrifugal forces are transferred in full to the clutch lining. Precise engagement and disengagement even under high loads and inside of closed clutch bell carriers means no problem for this clutch.The clutch can be easily adjusted to the engagement speed through three set screws without clutch bell removal, so you can match the characteristics of your engine.The special clutch lining of the Big Scale-EXTREME is particularly wear-resistant and - especially in combination with a high-quality nitrited clutch bell (), guarantees for an exceptionally long service life!
