AREA-BJ047 Reed valve block V2 for Zenoah G320
This reed valve system converts a normal piston-port engine into a reed valve engine. It offers the advantage of increased intake duration for a better charge for more power. As a positive side effect no fresh gas loss occurs during the downward movement of the piston because the membranes close this path.The reed valve block replaces the usual stock insulator. To use the advantage of the reed system, it is necessary to modify the piston skirt on the intake side. Depending on the engine it is advantageous for best results, to slightly match the cylinders intake port to the Epoxy insulator plate at the bottom of the reed valve system. Both steps are described in the installation instructions for Zenoah and Chung Yang engines. Our thanks for these instructions go to our customer Thomas Hoenicke.Note: For the time being the epoxy insulator plate must be slightly reworked to fit a G320 Zenoah engine. The manual has been written with the conversion of a G320, the affected area for modification is therefore shown.The unit is 24.5 mm high.

New ignition system for RC Car race engines with air baffles, special 62 mm balanced flywheel, modified ignition coil mount and special Löhin tuning ignition (#1361). For Zenoah G230/240/260/270/290/320 und CY / Fuelie / Losi engines.A much smaller and lighter flywheel, in conjunction with the special air baffles, ensures that the engine gets more cooling air then with previously available modified flywheels! The fan from the CIS-ignition with fins on both sides is about 30% lighter (!) than the stock version! Needless to say an engine equipped with such a flywheel revs considerably faster and significantly higher, of course. This in itself is nothing new, because modified flywheels, even though not 30% lighter, are pretty common on modified engines. However, the problem with these modified flywheels is maintaining sufficient cooling for the engine, which is absolutely mandatory for a reliably running engine! The 20% smaller in diameter flywheel is primarily responsible for the very substantial performance increase by the SPEED TEC CRANK ignition . The lower inertia, which is quite crucial for engine performance, allows for an extremely fast and higher revving engine! The air baffles of the CIS-ignition ensure that the path of the cooling air is matched to the reduced diameter of the CIS-fan wheel and the engine gets more cooling! As our product video shows, the stock engine gained near 2,000 rpm through installation of the SPEED TEC CIS-ignition ! But perhaps the optimized torque is even more convincing. This for 30% reduced and 20% more centrally positioned flywheel mass gives your engine a stunning power increase. Other benefits of SPEED TEC CIS - ignition system: Fits all Zenoah, as well as HPI, Losi-, CY 1/5 & 1/6 engines (incl. Zenoah G320) No modifications to the cylinder or the ignition coil mount required! No assembly of the flywheel, thus 100% exact fit and running true The enclosed Löhin ignition system is designed for speeds up to 25,000 rpm! The baffles protect the flywheel from debris (stones, etc.) Complete with Löhin ignition and all necessary parts in a nice special bag Easy installation: Remove the stock ignition system - install the CIS-ignition - done! The color of the ignition cable and the spark plug cap may vary.
