y1016/008T SPEED TEC 26 mm Off-Road Tuning insulator for Zenoah G320RC

Genuine Speed-Tec spare/option part. The material component of this high quality engineering plastic, with an extremely high melting point of 280° C, guarantees optimal insulation. In contrast to the original insulator, this will greatly enhance the thermal insulation of the carburetor and therefore no vapor lock caused by a heated carb! The lean condition of the engine at high temps is counteracted! The larger by about 25% overall height of 26 mm (vs. 21 mm stock) and the optimized passage allow lower fuel consumption! The inner diameter has been enlarged compared to the stock insulator from 15.8 mm to 17.5 mm at the top! Due to the 60% glass fiber content of the SPEED TEC Tuning insulator the threads allow for high clamping force, therefore a secure fit is guaranteed even with air boxes or bigger off-road air filters, which are common in racing applications.Please note:It is recommended to use a gasket sealer with every gasket on an engine. Especially for 1/5 & 1/6 offroad cars The angled version is required for many offroad cars when installing a taller insulator and for HPI Baja series cars as well. The material components of this high quality engineering plastic, with an extremely high melting point of 280° C, guarantee optimal heat dissipation. Unlike the original insulator, this allows for a much better thermal insulation of the carburetor and therefore prevents fuel vapor lock in the carburetor at high ambient temperatures! The leaning of the engine at higher temperatures is counteracted! The increased height and optimized port allows for lower fuel consumption! 60% glass fiber content of the SPEED TEC tuning insulator makes for strong mounting threads, providing a sturdy base for the usual airboxes or large off-road air filters which are common in competition applications. AREA-BJ047 Reed valve block V2 for Zenoah G320

This reed valve system converts a normal piston-port engine into a reed valve engine. It offers the advantage of increased intake duration for a better charge for more power. As a positive side effect no fresh gas loss occurs during the downward movement of the piston because the membranes close this path.The reed valve block replaces the usual stock insulator. To use the advantage of the reed system, it is necessary to modify the piston skirt on the intake side. Depending on the engine it is advantageous for best results, to slightly match the cylinders intake port to the Epoxy insulator plate at the bottom of the reed valve system. Both steps are described in the installation instructions for Zenoah and Chung Yang engines. Our thanks for these instructions go to our customer Thomas Hoenicke.Note: For the time being the epoxy insulator plate must be slightly reworked to fit a G320 Zenoah engine. The manual has been written with the conversion of a G320, the affected area for modification is therefore shown.The unit is 24.5 mm high.
