The spool replaces the center differential and keeps the speed of both output shafts the same. As a result, especially the acceleration of the vehicle is significantly increased.
The spool is nicely made of high-quality burnished steel and very strong. Its total length is the same as a normal differential housing with gasket. The gasket is no longer used with the spool. The driving pin of the front output shaft is secured by an O-ring. The screws for the connection with the spur gear are secured with nylock nuts. This eliminates the need for waiting for the curing of a thread locking compound and makes the removal of screws with damaged head much less critical.
The spool would physically fit front and rear applications as well; however, its use here makes no sense to driving dynamics.

The spark plug tester wiil be put in line between the spark plug in the engine and the spark plug cap. When the spark plug is in good working order, pulling the recoil starter will produce a spark easily visible in the clear section of the tester (see video!).

All parts with laser etched tooth count.Please note: The pinion do fit the 5ive-T 2.0 as well, of course. However, you then have to use the 5ive-T 2.0 engine mount inserts of the appropriate tooth count, inserts from the 5ive-T do not fit! Available with 16, 18T/20T/21T. The 19T pinion is stock equipment in Losi 5ive-T and Mini, 20T is stock in the 5ive-B.The 16T pinion is profile shifted and has the same dimensions as a normal 18T pinion.It is specially made for vehicles where the stock tires are replaced by much larger diameter rubber (i.e. monster truck tires and MadMax Giant Grip).Profile regraded, this means that the number of teeth is changed while the diameter remained constant. The part of the involutes? curve that defines the tooth profile is changed. To protect a car from a crash in case the power supply fails is no easy task. The mechanical devices that are used to do the job are either bulky or cause a higher drain from the battery. The failsafe module is a more efficient way.The module controls the battery pack's voltage and takes control of the throttle servo when the voltage goes below 4.7 volts. As an additional feature you can supply a backup battery pack to power the throttle servo in case the main pack falls completely. The failsafe position of the throttle servo is adjustable.
