As a result, broken fins on the flywheel occur frequently. This leads to reduced cooling efficiency and - even more critical vibrations from a flywheel which is out of balance due to missing fins.
Therefore, this kind of flywheel protection is highly recommended, especially for offroad use.

Note:
It is essential to thoroughly clean and degrease the crankcase prior to attaching the hook-and-loop tape (OKS2661)!
For installation on Chung-Yang and Zenoah engines in FG cars, the crankcase cover must be slightly modified in two places where the engine mount is attached (see Figure 6 and 7). Furthermore the fit of the fabric must be as tight as possible in the region of the layshaft pinion (in front of the differential ring gear!) (see Figure 8).
Set includes:
- Special tailored fabric with sewed on hook-and-loop tape
- hook-and-loop tape for installation to the crankcase
- Adhesive for securing the hook-and-loop tape
