With few exceptions, the Mammoth is usually for the rear axle only. The disadvantage of Mammoth tires: Because of their extreme width they need to be mounted on FG wheels with extension rings and wide tire inserts (same as for the FG wide slicks), which is a labor intensive job. The white lettering on the tires has been applied for presentation purpose only. The tires will be delivered with black sidewall. From experience, we must strongly recommend against using rims from another manufacturer in combination with extension rings. Due to the before mentioned traction no other rim has been up to the task! Broken rims and torn squares were the result. However, the original FG-rim lasts without problems!
