Since engines become faster and stronger these days, the clutch has to handle much more power than before. This clutch is basically the same for all cars, only the center part is different. So when you change your car youll only need a different center part. This new clutch has 4 shoes which engaging action can be adjusted to your personal preference through changing the springs. You are now able to allow 2 shoes to engage earlier by 700 to 2000 rpm. When the engine has enough rpm to press all 4 shoes against the bell, the spring preload is neutralized. The reason for this: the center part, which is attached to the crankshaft and carries the clutch body on three ball bearings, turns 30 degrees once all 4 shoes touch the bell, increasing pressure on the shoes from down below to a higher value than possible through centrifugal force alone. The stronger the engine, the more additional clutch pressure will be generated. The result: better acceleration through significantly reduced slippage. This will protect your clutch shoes from wear and damage! When the throttle is released, the center part disengages and the springs are re-activated within milliseconds. With this new system the wear of the shoes is significantly reduced. This clutch is especially designed for models with high power engines such as the heavy like Losi 5ive-T. You can off course use this new clutch system in all models. And yes, you can personalize the characteristics of the clutch by changing the spring strength and shoe combination!Contents:1 piece
