This design features a separate conical header and an ultra smooth tooled expansion chamber with a telescoping fit for both reliability as well as performance. The use of advanced precise tooling to produce both the header and the pipe optimizes the shock wave effect of the expansion chamber system as well as maximizing the durability.
The hi-quality steel alloy is coated with a rust and heat resistant black finish for added protection and appearance. The compact design offers plenty of room for access to chassis parts and, since the pipe bolts directly and securely to the engine, gear changes and service on the clutch or engine is extremely easy. All mounting hardware, exhaust gasket and coupler are included as well as being available separately.
Attention:
Contrary to all other pipes from our range, this tuned pipe system has no silencer!
Therefore it is very noisy and not allowed on most every official race track!

The Samba 8 titanium gives you a weight saving of 140 grams compared to the steel version. We have tested and optimized the Samba 8 Titan- tuned pipe system for half a year on the engine dyno and an additional three months on various racetracks! The pipe has a new, very strong connection system. This low-maintenance flexible connection between pipe and manifold is secured by four (!) springs, making a failure prone o-ring seal obsolete! Despite of the increased performance fuel consumption remains the same compared to a Samba 7 pipe. The Samba 8 system provides significantly better performance, i.e. the power is optimally available across the engines entire rpm range! In the short version 8303 ESW, the installation of the tuned pipe is possible in vehicles with 510mm wheelbase. Again and again, podium places are achieved at major events through the use of Samba tuned pipe systems.Of course, the Samba 8 tuned pipe system is race legal for racing, with the DMC approval number 10-1504 engraved.
