Off-road tires for sandy underground! Gives great results on those carpets which are typical for some off-road tracks. 462 grippy square studs per tire, a total of more then 1800 for a complete set of tires, guarantee maximum traction! The lower profile of the outer stud rows reduces lateral traction and guarantee exceptional directional stability! Therefore the car is less prone to undesirable side rolls! The rim is the 6-spoke design with a steel reinforcement ring around the wheel drive. The NARROW-GRIP tires are available  with 24mm hex for Losi, HPI Baja 5 and Carson GP Wild Attack series cars and they allready glued!To prevent premature wheel drive wear the fit to the rim is very tight. Therefore the rim should be properly aligned with hex drive and completely mounted via tightening the wheel nut! The Mammoth brings, due to its quite strong and large pins and the extreme width of the tire, especially on hard and low grip surfaces a high traction! The Mammoth is available in soft, medium and hard! The rule is: the harder the ground the softer the tire compound. Where other tires spin helplessly the Mammoth provides serious traction. With few exceptions, the Mammoth is usually for the rear axle only. The white lettering on the tires has been applied for presentation purpose only. The tires will be delivered with black sidewall. The disadvantage of Mammoth tires: Because of their extreme width they need to be mounted on FG wheels with extension rings and wide tire inserts (same as for the FG wide slicks), which is a labor intensive job. From experience, we must strongly recommend against using rims from another manufacturer in combination with extension rings. Due to the before mentioned traction no other rim has been up to the task! Broken rims and torn squares were the result. This makes the car less prone to unwanted traction rolls! Due to the extreme load created by the MadMax Ultragrip tires the rim was optimized again with a reinforcement ring.The tires are fitted with a special rigid insert, which can handle the cornering forces and maintain the tires shape even on heavy cars. The GPM Ultragrip are designed for use on sandy surfaces.We recommend to check the beadlock screws after the run.
