This makes them a better choice for for wheel-side applications on front axles, where the angles of the steering and suspension meet.GPM universals for ball drive can be disassembled and therefore repaired or rebuilded if necessary. The center pin (No.: 66275/02)of the GPM universal joint is secured by a grub screw, which should be installed using a medium strength screw locking compound (y0114).Therefore the joint can be easily rebuilded by replacing the center pin for cheap and will be good as new again.The GPM drive parts are made of high quality spring steel and due to its elasticity provide high impact resistance and extreme stability. Genuine HT spare/option part.Wheel squares made of high-strength aluminum, hardened, with two M6 mounting threads Suitable for most 1/6 and 1/5 rc-cars. Through the use of two 6 mm screws a significantly higher retention force is achieved. Yet it is still recommended to use medium strength thread lock (link y0114)! The hard anodizing (HART-COAT) guarantees much lower wear of the squares! Especially recommended when using wheel mounted brake discs! Four 3x16 dowel pins per square are included which prevent the squares from spinning in the rim. Press fitting them into the wheel squares is optional. The 12, 14 and 17 mm wide squares feature a groove for inserting a C-clip (link 6106/05), which acts as a guide for the brake disk. The narrow 9.5 mm wide squares dont need a clip; the close sitting rim will guide the disk.
