To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the legendary Marder 1/6 scale 2WD buggy, FG Modellsport/T2M releases a special edition, limited to 300 numbered pieces, with the original signature of Franz Gröschl on the sticker sheet as well as a top equipment (G260RC Zenoah engine, hi-capacity low friction aluminum shock absorbers and special aluminum engine mounts). with original 260 Zenoah with Low-Friction Alu shocks with alloy enginemount The Models is built on a 4 mm u-bended chassis. All borings of the lower side are countersunk, therefore the screw heads can't bear out.Double wishbones at font and rear axle as well as 4 bulk oil-pressure shock absorbers guarantee perfect ground adherence. All rotating parts are supported by ball-bearings. Rear gear wheels, differential gears and all driving elements are case-hardened. The side guards protect the model from dirt. With original signature of Franz Gröschl. The model is equipped with a powerfull 26 ccm engine which runs with normal 2-stroke petrol-oil mixture (available at every petrol station). The tank filling of 0,7 liters enables you to drive about 45 minutes. The engine can be started without difficulties through the integrated pull-start. With more than 700 (!) differently designed, closely spaced lugs and the 70 mm wide tread it is reasonably wear resistant and provides optimal grip with good side traction. If this - i.e. on the front axle - is not desired, you may cut the lugs at the tires outer edge to reduce cornering grip. This can be easily done with a small side cutter or strong nail scissors. In order to reduce the edging in the tire on the front axle.This makes a tire less aggressive during cornering and changes the cars behavior towards understeer. It becomes depending on the track conditions (i.e. wet!) a lot more drivable.An optimal vehicle setup can often be achieved by running already used HURRAX extreme tires on the front and new ones on the rear axle.This is especially true for 2WD models. MadMax MAXI PIN tyres have been specially developed for carpet race tracks!  The special block tread pattern, with 480 knobs per tyre, provides excellent grip, but also puts extreme strain on the tyre and the rim. The 3-piece Super Star rims from HPI ensure that the tyre fits perfectly on the rim. This means that no adhesive is required to fix the tyre in place and the rim can be used again and again with new tyres. To stabilise the tyre, the outside of the tyre shoulder is equipped with vertical ribbing on the side, which minimises tilting under load and counteracts the shear forces that occur in bends. Furthermore, the MAXI PIN tyres have knobs positioned on the side of the outer side, which particularly support the steering behaviour of your RC car in bends. Off-road tires for sandy underground! Gives great results on those carpets which are typical for some off-road tracks. 462 grippy square studs per tire, a total of more then 1800 for a complete set of tires, guarantee maximum traction! The lower profile of the outer stud rows reduces lateral traction and guarantee exceptional directional stability! Therefore the car is less prone to undesirable side rolls! The rim is the 6-spoke design with a steel reinforcement ring around the wheel drive. The NARROW-GRIP tires are available  with 24mm hex for Losi, HPI Baja 5 and Carson GP Wild Attack series cars and they allready glued!To prevent premature wheel drive wear the fit to the rim is very tight. Therefore the rim should be properly aligned with hex drive and completely mounted via tightening the wheel nut!
