CROSS BOND tyres 170 x 60 with MadMax Extreme 20-bolt rims with 24 mm hexagon mount and reinforced orange rim rings are designed for use on loose surfaces. The extremely strong and differently structured lugs of the CROSS BOND enable optimum power transmission and provide excellent grip, even on loose ground such as sand and earth. The lugs are raised on the outside of the tyre, providing maximum grip, especially when cornering, when the tyre edges outwards.  In addition to the reinforcement ring, the tyre has also been glued and is therefore sold as used. Due to the extreme stress caused by the MadMax CROSS BOND tyres, the rim has been further optimised with a reinforcement ring.  The tyres are equipped with a special rigid tyre insert that transfers the applied force without tilting, even on heavier models.  We recommend checking the screw connections on the rims after use.  Dimensions:  Outer diameter: 170 mm  width: 60 mm Reinforced 18 mm square rim mount 1 pair

Fits all FG and Carson largescale cars, may fit other cars with 18 mm wheel squares as well.Available in three different compounds:SoftHardWe have tried various rubber / tire compounds for several months on various forms of terrain, etc.. The Mammoth brings, due to its quite strong and large pins and the extreme width of the tire, especially on hard and low grip surfaces a high traction! The Mammoth is available in soft, medium and hard! The rule is: the harder the ground the softer the tire compound. Where other tires spin helplessly the Mammoth provides serious traction. The disadvantage of Mammoth tires: Because of their extreme width they need to be mounted on FG wheels, which is a labor intensive job. From experience, we must strongly recommend against using rims from another manufacturer in combination with extension rings. Due to the before mentioned traction no other rim has been up to the task! Broken rims and torn squares were the result. Genuine HT spare/option part.Wheel squares made of high-strength aluminum, hardened, with two M6 mounting threads Suitable for most 1/6 and 1/5 rc-cars. Through the use of two 6 mm screws a significantly higher retention force is achieved. Yet it is still recommended to use medium strength thread lock (link y0114)! The hard anodizing (HART-COAT) guarantees much lower wear of the squares! Especially recommended when using wheel mounted brake discs! Four 3x16 dowel pins per square are included which prevent the squares from spinning in the rim. Press fitting them into the wheel squares is optional. The 12, 14 and 17 mm wide squares feature a groove for inserting a C-clip (link 6106/05), which acts as a guide for the brake disk. The narrow 9.5 mm wide squares dont need a clip; the close sitting rim will guide the disk. The extremely rigid and differently structured lugs of the CROSS BOND ensure optimum power transmission and also allow for excellent grip on loose surfaces, such as sand and soil. The lugs are raised at the treads outside, and therefore provide maximum grip, particularly when cornering where the tire is canted to the outside. Due to the extreme load created by the MadMax CROSS BOND tires the rim was optimized again with a reinforcement ring.The tires are fitted with a special rigid insert, which can handle the cornering forces and maintain the tires shape even on heavy cars. We recommend to check the beadlock screws after the run.
