MadMax MAXI PIN tyres have been specially developed for carpet race tracks!  The special block tread pattern, with 480 knobs per tyre, provides excellent grip, but also puts extreme strain on the tyre and the rim. The 3-piece 80 mm MadMax rims ensure that the tyre fits perfectly on the rim. This means that no adhesive is required to fix the tyre in place and the rim can be used again and again with new tyres. To stabilise the tyre, the outside of the tyre shoulder is equipped with vertical ribbing on the side, which minimises tilting under load and counteracts the shear forces that occur in bends. Furthermore, the MAXI PIN tyres have knobs positioned on the side of the outer side, which particularly support the steering behaviour of your RC car in bends. The MadMax MAXI PIN tires come with strong special tire inserts which allow transferring the power without canting, even on heavy cars. MadMax MAXI PIN tire was developed specifically for astro turf tracks! The special tread design with 480 studs per tire provides excellent grip, but also a high load on tire and rim! To stabilize the tire, the outer shoulder features radial ribs which minimizes the tilting under load and counteract the shear forces during cornering. Furthermore, the MAXI PIN tire has studs positioned on the outside shoulder, which support the steering in corners. All together the MAXI PIN tires provide maximum grip, which made it necessary to upgrade the beadlock screws on these MadMax EXTREME wheels. So they come with 3.0 mm screws instead of the usual 2.5 mm ones! Nevertheless, tires and beadlocks should be checked after every run. Fits Losi 5ive-T, 5ive Mini, Desert Buggy XL and all HPI Baja 5B and 5T/SC cars.Due to the extreme stress created by the MadMax SUPER GRIP tires, the rim has been optimized again.The tires come with a special rigid insert which transfers the applied forces without tilting; even with the heaviest cars like the Losi 5ive-T.All together, the SUPER GRIP lives up to its name and provides maximum grip, which makes it necessary to use the supplied 3 mm beadlock screws for the MadMax EXTREME rims instead of the usual 2.5 mm screws. Additionally, the seating of these screws should be checked after each use.The MadMax SUPERGRIP tires have been designed especially for use on tarmac. Even on fine-pored tarmac your car will still find enough grip! (As you can see in our video.)On most 1/5 and 1/6 cars the best combination is the use of 60 mm wide front and 80 mm wide rear tires. The Losi 5ive-T Mini should run 60 mm wide MadMax SUPERGRIP tires all around, because the 80 mm wide SUPERGRIP tires are a bit too wide for the Mini body shell.The 80 mm wide MadMax tires are reinforced on the inside of the carcass with a special cross pattern in the tread section and ribs in the outside shoulder.MadMax SUPERGRIP tires are available in the following compounds: (embossed marking on the inside shoulder!)

The extremely rigid and differently structured lugs of the CROSS BOND ensure optimum power transmission and also allow for excellent grip on loose surfaces, such as sand and soil. The lugs are raised at the treads outside, and therefore provide maximum grip, particularly when cornering where the tire is canted to the outside. Due to the extreme load created by the MadMax CROSS BOND tires the rim was optimized again with a reinforcement ring.The tires are fitted with a special rigid insert, which can handle the cornering forces and maintain the tires shape even on heavy cars. BIG DIGGER 170x60 with black MadMax Extreme rims with 20 beadlock screws, with 18 mm square socket and reinforced orange beadlock rings for FG, Smartech and many more. Due to the extreme load created by the MadMax BIG DIGGER tires the rim was optimized again with a reinforcement ring.The MadMax tires had 84 extremely strong, with more than 1 cm² cross-section and 6 mm tread depth, allow for best power transfer and provide excellent grip even on loose surfaces like sand or soil.The tires are fitted with a special rigid insert, which can handle the cornering forces and maintain the tires shape even on heavy cars.
