BIG DIGGER 170x80 and 170x60 with black MadMax Extreme rims with 20 beadlock screws, with 18 mm square socket and reinforced orange beadlock rings for FG, Smartech and many more.
Due to the extreme load created by the MadMax BIG DIGGER tires the rim was optimized again with a reinforcement ring.
The MadMax tires had 84 extremely strong tread blocks on the front tires and 96 on the rears, with more than 1 cm² cross-section and 6 mm tread depth, allow for best power transfer and provide excellent grip even on loose surfaces like sand or soil.
The tires are fitted with a special rigid insert, which can handle the cornering forces and maintain the tires shape even on heavy cars.
We recommend to check the beadlock screws after the run.

The off-road tire for hard packed dirt and spectacular drifts!Gives great results on those carpets which are typical for some off-road tracks. 616 grippy square studs per tire, a total of more then 2.400 for a complete set of tires, guarantee maximum traction! The lower profile of the outer stud rows reduces lateral traction and guarantee exceptional directional stability and allows for spectacular drifts! Therefore the car is less prone to undesirable side rolls!The Narrow-Grip 616 tires are mounted on a flexible 10 spoke rim with steel ring reinforced 24 mm hex drive. 10 screws per beadlock ring keep the tires in place. The Narrow-Grip 616 tires feature a firm foam insert, making them suitable even for heavier weight cars.To prevent premature wheel drive wear the fit to the rim is very tight. For the best result possible, nut and adapter are manufactured as a one-piece unit.It should be noted that the wide rims can be used on the rear axle only. On the front axle they would limit the steering angle by grinding on lower a-arm and steering rod.Traxxas has microencapsulated the wheel shafts of the X-Maxx to secure the wheel nuts. Like any thread locking compound this is not for eternity. After several tire changes the use of a normal screw locking compound is advised, we recommend it "y0113 / 01 medium strength".The dimensions of the nut are specifically designed for use with MadMax, current HPI and Losi rims. Rims from Losi 5ive have slightly different dimensions in the hub area. This is meaningless on the large LOSI or HPI wheel adapters. With the smaller and shorter wheel nut thread of the X-Maxx wheel shafts you cannot compromise. Therefore there are also special nuts for the Losi rims/wheels available at our options menu.However, somewhere in the past, the injection moulds for the HPI rims were slightly modified in the hub area. As part of that job the bore diameter has probably been slightly increased.
