Damper feet one pair short, one pair long (4WD MT version).  We recommend our progressive off-road tuning shock absorber springs from the "Dirt-Spring M" series, part number y0321, for the shock absorbers.  The original springs can also be used on FG models!  Silicone oil recommendation:  The GPM-Spezial Cross shock absorbers are filled with silicone oil viscosity 1000. This viscosity provides very good damping properties at normal outside temperatures.  If softer damping is required, oil with a viscosity of 500 or 600 is recommended; for harder damping, 1500 or higher is recommended.  One 50 ml bottle of y0038 is sufficient for five long or six short dampers.

Progressive tuning springs, will fit the standard red and the thick silver shocks on FG offroad cars. The rear springs will also fit Hurrax shocks. All springs have an internal diameter because of the manufacturing progress: 21 up to 21,5 mm. Shocks come in pairs including all-metal lower ball joints, spring perches and springs with 2.75 mm wire diameter.These technically demanding, excellently manufactured GPM Piggyback shocks come ready for use, assembled and filled with 1000 viscosity silicone oil. For a possible fine tuning (less damping with lower viscosity, more with higher viscosity) we recommend our silicone oils y0038 (50 ml) or y0039 (100 ml).
