New ignition system for RC Car race engines with air baffles, special 62 mm balanced flywheel, modified ignition coil mount and special Löhin tuning ignition (#1361). For Zenoah G230/240/260/270/290/320 und CY / Fuelie / Losi engines.A much smaller and lighter flywheel, in conjunction with the special air baffles, ensures that the engine gets more cooling air then with previously available modified flywheels! The fan from the CIS-ignition with fins on both sides is about 30% lighter (!) than the stock version! Needless to say an engine equipped with such a flywheel revs considerably faster and significantly higher, of course. This in itself is nothing new, because modified flywheels, even though not 30% lighter, are pretty common on modified engines. However, the problem with these modified flywheels is maintaining sufficient cooling for the engine, which is absolutely mandatory for a reliably running engine! The 20% smaller in diameter flywheel is primarily responsible for the very substantial performance increase by the SPEED TEC CRANK ignition . The lower inertia, which is quite crucial for engine performance, allows for an extremely fast and higher revving engine! The air baffles of the CIS-ignition ensure that the path of the cooling air is matched to the reduced diameter of the CIS-fan wheel and the engine gets more cooling! As our product video shows, the stock engine gained near 2,000 rpm through installation of the SPEED TEC CIS-ignition ! But perhaps the optimized torque is even more convincing. This for 30% reduced and 20% more centrally positioned flywheel mass gives your engine a stunning power increase. Sintered steel clutch for Zenoah and many other rc-car engines from 23 cm³ to 32 cm³.Note: The sintered steel clutch needs a break in period of at least half an hour run time after their first installation. Only then the clutch surface reaches the desired grip and provides the necessary friction. After that the clutch will show consistent operation and extremely low wear!With 80 grams the weight of the clutch is about the same as the usual OEM clutches.As with all non-adjustable clutches a periodic monitoring of the clutch spring is recommended. By changing the spring, it is also possible to match your car to the track conditions, i.e.: the harder the spring, the higher the stall speed of the clutch.If not on hand, for installation of the sintered steel clutch a clutch spring, the Zenoah screw set # 7318 and the original Zenoah clutch mount # 7315 are required!

All parts with laser etched tooth count.Please note: The pinion do fit the 5ive-T 2.0 as well, of course. However, you then have to use the 5ive-T 2.0 engine mount inserts of the appropriate tooth count, inserts from the 5ive-T do not fit! Available with 16, 18T/19T/20T/21T/22T. The 19T pinion is stock equipment in Losi 5ive-T and Mini, 20T is stock in the 5ive-B.The 16T pinion is profile shifted and has the same dimensions as a normal 18T pinion.It is specially made for vehicles where the stock tires are replaced by much larger diameter rubber (i.e. monster truck tires and MadMax Giant Grip).Profile regraded, this means that the number of teeth is changed while the diameter remained constant. The part of the involutes? curve that defines the tooth profile is changed. Genuine TT spare/option part.The new and improved failsafe modul.This kill switch module works with most FM and 2.4 GHz rc-systems. Not compatible with AVC-equipped receivers! You must have a free channel on your rc-system in order to install the module! This means at least a 3-channel radio for standard 1-servo brake/throttle setups or a 4-channel radio for dual brake servos driven by the radio's mixer function. With this module you can stop the engine with your radio. Additionally the module features a failsafe function which stops the engine when the rx-battery's voltage drops below a certain level or the rc-system has a glitch. A kill switch module fulfils two tasks. On the one hand, as a safety device, it is intended to shut off an engine with magneto ignition in case of failure of the remote control, and on the other hand, the engine can be stopped at any time by remote control.While the latter is mainly used for convenience, the safety aspect is what really matters.The failsave circuit integrated in all modern remote controls may brake the vehicle in the event of a radio interference, but this feature is dependent on the basic functionality of the receiver system and its power supply. However, if the receiver, the gas servo or the power supply fails completely, the failsave of the remote control can no longer do its job.
