The dimensioning of all parts is designed for great reliability, e.g. the ball joints in the lower trailing arms are standardized industrial swivel bearings with an inner diameter of 6 mm, and the driveline can handle 12S hands down. Oversized drive shafts also on the front axle are machined and hardened steel with fixed joints at both ends and sliding piece for length compensation. The tires feature a vulcanized fabric reinforcement made of Kevlar; ballooning is actually a thing of the past for them. Thanks to Kevlar, the fabric belt can be relatively thin, so the tires are soft and flexible despite the fabric. Aluminum servo arms for all 4 servos (steering and differential locks) are standard. The levers of the two steering servos are adjustable. Each steering servo has its own adjustable servo saver. A stainless steel adjustment tool is included. The Ackerman rod features four ball bearings. Shock absorbers with 8 mm piston rods and hard anodized shock bodies. All drive gears milled from steel and hardened. Two voltmeters can be optionally installed in the receiver box to monitor the traction batteries. The cage can be removed with only 4 clips, but even that is not a requirement for battery replacement. Genuine TT spare/option part.The new and improved failsafe modul.This kill switch module works with most FM and 2.4 GHz rc-systems. Not compatible with AVC-equipped receivers! You must have a free channel on your rc-system in order to install the module! This means at least a 3-channel radio for standard 1-servo brake/throttle setups or a 4-channel radio for dual brake servos driven by the radio's mixer function. With this module you can stop the engine with your radio. Additionally the module features a failsafe function which stops the engine when the rx-battery's voltage drops below a certain level or the rc-system has a glitch. A kill switch module fulfils two tasks. On the one hand, as a safety device, it is intended to shut off an engine with magneto ignition in case of failure of the remote control, and on the other hand, the engine can be stopped at any time by remote control.While the latter is mainly used for convenience, the safety aspect is what really matters.The failsave circuit integrated in all modern remote controls may brake the vehicle in the event of a radio interference, but this feature is dependent on the basic functionality of the receiver system and its power supply. However, if the receiver, the gas servo or the power supply fails completely, the failsave of the remote control can no longer do its job. Gas-nitrided tuning clutch bell machined from high grade steel with a hole for easy clutch adjustment. Special vents remove dirt and clutch lining debris automatically, preventing it from accumulating in the clutch bell and causing premature wear to clutch bell and linings. They aid in cooling of the clutch bell as well.The clutch bell features a significantly reinforced wearing surface and face which guarantees dimensional stability even under high loads! The shaft is a tiny bit longer than stock (about 0.2 mm) to prevent the bearings from binding.Since this clutch bell is single-piece machined from bar stock there is no weld bead on the inside of the face plate. The gained space allows now to use the adjustable GPM Big Extreme clutch.Suitable for genuine slot drive Losi pinions. The new TT0900 electric starter is pre-assembled and fits a wide range of models including the Losi 5ive-T, 5ive Mini and DBXL, most FG models, HPI-Baja / Wild Attack series etc. The TT0900 electric starter can be started with the remote control (free channel required!). The new TT0900electric starter has much more power than the previous Electric starter thanks to the brushless motor and higher voltage. The popular Zenoah G320 is no longer a problem. It also no longer uses a one-way bearing, which clearly increases reliability. Also the installation space has been noticeably reduced by the motor and a planetary gearbox.The starter components to be fitted weigh about 666 grams plus the battery.For mounting the starter, the flywheel on the engine is replaced by the version with spring-loaded pawls included in the delivery. The tools required for this, piston stopper and flywheel puller, are also included in the delivery.For the 3rd channel the transmitter should have a switch with two positions (momentary switch preferred) or a controller. An additional channel is required for a remote engine killswitch. A killswitch is included in the scope of delivery, but a real fail-safe module such as TT0990 offers higher safety. A possibly already existing failsafe module can also be used.Due to the splitting of the functions engine start and engine stop on two channels, no more compatibility problems with different remote controls are to be expected, only the availability of free channels matters.A 3S LiPo battery is required as the power source.In the shops options menu, we offer a special battery with a more compact design (5,600 mAh/30C, 110 x 49 x 34 mm) which makes installation usually easier in many cars, as well as a battery with standard dimensions (3,900 mAh/60C, 135 x 45 x 25 mm). To ensure the required cooling for current 1/5 and 1/6 engines the flywheels have fins on both sides. Therefore the fan housing has large openings on the crankcase side for the required air supply. However, the risk of foreign objects (grass, sand, or even stones!) entering here Is very high! As a result, broken fins on the flywheel occur frequently.
